Have you ever worked really hard at something and couldn’t get it right? You knew you were missing something, but couldn’t figure out what it was?

I have. I’ve struggled often in my life… personally and professionally.

I kept making the same mistakes over and over again. I would change a little, but it was really doing the same thing with a small variation. I just couldn’t see myself clearly enough to make the changes I needed to make to be successful. Can you relate?

I didn’t give up though and kept searching and searching. Finally, I found the secret. It was so simple. It was the one thing that turned everything around for me.

I found a coach.

She helped me make the changes I needed to make to be successful. She gave me support. She was my sounding board. She helped me realize what was important to me to be successful and stay focused on it. She taught me how to be my best self; so much so that I decided to become a coach as well.

Having a coach is the most important element to living a successful life. Quit trying to go it alone. You need that person to help you over the edge. Everyone needs a coach. One of my clients, Jill, said it best. Thank you Jill!

Professional coaching was very worthwhile for me. Although I still ‘trip over’ piles in my office, I have made progress. I realize that I am ‘a work in process’ and the process is rewarding.

"What I have gained from the coaching experience—in no particular order:

• Sleep at night!!
• Take time for me—exercise 3 times per week
• Still struggle with staying on task due to the many distractions but don’t beat myself up as much
• Take stock of what has been accomplished
• Delegate to staff—then step back and let them do it!
• Have reduced number of times I say, “I’m sorry.”
• Work to provide tools for staff to succeed
• Concentrate on task at hand—still have much to do on this one—see ‘distractions’ above J
• Don’t panic
• Plan, Plan, Plan!— still have much to do on this one—just getting one ‘plan’ done some days—see ‘distractions’ above
• Work toward and then record and report on my progress on the goals set by my Board (with some input from me)
“Owning my time,” Plan, Plan, Plan! and prioritization are still difficult. I’ve learned that my perfectionism actually leads to procrastination. Having to tackle that in small bites. Accepting that everything does not have to be perfect is actually happening."

A coach helps you hold up a mirror to your life and see who and what you are… without judgment. Then, they help you move forward to get the life you want.

What do you need to change to have a successful life? What mistakes or variations of mistakes do you keep repeating?

Whatever it is, a coach can be the catalyst to get you to the life you want.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone in your corner? You don’t have to go it alone.

I know, I know, I've heard it before. I wish I could, but it's too expensive. Well, that’s changing right now. We’re launching a new group coaching program!!!

WHY OURS WORKS Compass Coaching Group Begins in September!

If you’ve ever wanted to have a coach, but couldn’t afford it, now is the time. You can get group coaching and specific daily training in a variety of subjects for as little as $19 per month.

The best part is there's no contract or commitment. Try it for a month. If you don’t like it, simply call and cancel.( I bet you don't.)

Here’s how it works:

• Follow this link www.mylifecompass.com/whyoursworks
• Click on membership at the top of the page
• Choose your program – basic, advanced or master. (I advise you do at least the advanced program so you can get phone coaching as well as a Monthly Action Plan or MAP.)
• Choose your coach - me I hope, but if my times don’t work for you or you would prefer someone else for ANY reason, call or email me and I will help you choose another one based on your needs. The important thing is to get support
• Choose the area of your life you want to improve – life balance, money & career, health & wellness, communication and spirit
• let your MAP and your coach guide you to the life you want

Like I said, having a coach is the single most important element to having a successful life. With this price, there is no reason not to try.

Unless, of course, you’re completely satisfied with all aspects if your life. If you’re like most people though, there's something that you want to change and aren't sure how to do it.

A coach will get you there, I promise. Try it for a month and see what happens. I dare you!
