Why Self Tanning Products Are Putting Tanning Salons Out Of Business
Written by Kate Ho
Just recently, I had the chance to speak with several tanning salon owners and they have reported that business is extremely slow. One of the contributing causes to this is what they believe to be self tanning products. Self tanning products have emerged in the 21st century as an item that you can apply to your skin with a lotion or spray, and it will instantly turn your skin a bronze, tan color. This is very desirable for a lot of different people and with all of the research that has been done on tanning, it seems to be much safer for your skin. Tanning salons with tanning beds can be dangerous. To achieve a tan in this way, you have to lay in a bed that is packed with UV rays. These are the same rays that the sun puts off, they are damaging to your skin when you expose your skin to these rays consistently. If you want to achieve a tan and look your best, there are very few other options on the table. Aside from going to a tanning salon, you can use the natural sun, which is often just as dangerous, or you can use a fake tanning product.
Self tanning products like self tanning lotions are saferr
The truth is, using a self tanning lotion is far safer than using a tanning bed or the sun. You can achieve the same tan, and nobody will be able to tell the difference. There are very few people that wouldn't agree that this is an excellent opportunity. Self tanning products are also cheaper than going to a tanning salon, since these salons often charge excessive rates for their services. Keep in mind, they have to pay a lot of money for the electricity to operate their beds, so charging their clients high prices is something they have to do in order to stay in business. Because of this, many people are going toward self tanning products, and a lot of tanning salons have been forced to close their doors.
Self tanning products are easierr
Another reason why self tanning is putting tanning salons out of business is because using self tanning products is much easier than having to go to a tanning salon. In order to get a tan through a tanning bed, you have to regularly go to the salon. This includes about 3 to 4, 15 minute sessions a week. Doing this regularly is difficult, not everybody has the time in order to go to the tanning salon this often. A lot of people find self tanning products more reasonable, since you just have to apply them to your skin whenever is convenient. Self tanning products are available in sprays and lotions and there is no specific time that you have to put these products on. You can do it in the morning, afte
oon, or evening, it is entirely up to you.
If you're looking for the best self tanning lotion, you may want to look online and read reviews about the products you are interested in. Reviews help you pinpoint which products are the best in the industry.
