A professional colleague recommended that I joi
SelfGrowth.com. I had not heard of the site, but I quickly realized why it was such a popular website and featured so many others who had obtained success as well as those on the road to success.

SelfGrowth.com was started as a resource website. It's full of hundreds of thousands of expert articles written by business leaders such as you. First, the genius of the site was to create a way to have thousands of experts providing this content in a community environment. Secondly, search engines (like Google) LOVE solid content and it can help a website generate great rankings for multiple topics by having a variety of articles.

I joined the site because I saw an opportunity to connect with other professionals and share some of my insights. I hope to add more content down the road, but I figured I would start out with something positive for the community since I am one of the newer members.

Additionally, I have started to connect with others in the community and look forward to making new connections as well as reading more great articles from others in the community.

Here is the good news for those who want to follow in the footsteps of this site. You can build a site like this on your own thanks to some great technology that is out there. Most of you I am sure have heard of a software called WordPress. It is used to create some of the most powerful websites and blogs online. One of the reasons for it’s success is the many amazing features that it has, either inherently or through the many (free) plug-ins you can add to it. One such feature is the ability to have multiple authors, which means you can recruit your own team of experts to start writing content for your website. Of course, you will want to monitor what’s put out there because it’s your reputation on the line with theirs, but you now really don’t have an excuse for not being able to have a solid website that is a great online resource.

Once you have your content development system in place, you will realize that having great web exposure leads to more visitors, which leads to opportunities to earn some great income from your website/blog. The easiest form of revenue for your blog would be using contextual ads such as Google’s AdSense, and then from there you can graduate to selling your own ads and build an empire of your own similar to what David has done with SelfGrowth.com. So what are you waiting for?
