Willow, the German Shepherd, Catches the Waves.

Anyone that has ever the privilege of having a German Shepherd as your best friend can understand this short story.

Meet Willow, my 5 years old German Shepherd puppy, and I do mean “puppy”. She is the light of my life. Even though she is our family dog, she is my dog.

Willow’s favorite pass time is catching things, and I mean anything. She’s even caught birds and brought them to me with a sad look as if saying “Look, my toy is broken.” Oooops. She’s doesn’t do that anymore.

During our walks down at the lake, Willow lets everyone and every dog know that she is “here” by shouting out a large, deep bark. She knows how to get attention. Then we head down to the water front so that Willow can “catch the waves”.

It’s such a treat watching her hunt down a wave coming into shoreline or against the rocks. Willow chases the roaring waves and catches them. She dives her head into that wave and bites at it.

Now, Willow doesn’t know that there is nothing but water to catch. After all, she is a dog, but she is determined. With persistence, she does get that wave and so proud of herself. She’s not looking for a physical reward. Just the action of chasing and catching gives her all the confidence in the world.

We can all learn from Willow. Her persistence, determination and action have made her succeed in getting we she desires. These are the key ingredients to achieving YOUR Dreams and Goals. Whether that be financial freedom, leadership, travel, work from home so that you can spend more time with your family and friends or just having the freedom to choose.

Never give up! Shout from the roof tops! Just as Willow does at the park. Be heard! Be seen! Take action! Let the world know that you are amazing.
