You Can Do It!
“If you think you can, or you think you can’t - you’re right.” - Henry Ford
I was reminded the other day about the Little Train That Could. You know, the children’s story about the big train who saw a mountain ahead of him, and said to himself, “I can’t do it! I can’t do it!” And, he didn’t.
But the little train saw a mountain and said to himself, “I think I can, I think I can.” He wasn’t completely sure he could. But he had a positive attitude. And he was willing to try. And guess what?
He did it! This is a simplified example of MIND OVER MATTER. And how it can affect our lives.
How many times have you entered into a relationship, thinking, “I hope this goes well.” You probably were fairly confident that it was going ok at least... with the idea in the back of your head that it could go bad, too. But you were willing to try to be your best - and let the chips fall where they may.
How many times have you been assigned - or volunteered for - a big project at work, or signed that dream client and you weren’t completely confident that you could accomplish it? Even if you were given the tools, resources, time and people you needed, it still may have looked daunting.
You dive in and think... What am I doing? Maybe you get some traction and make some progress. Some days you feel like you’re working backwards.
But the feeling we get after going through some unknown space with just our own abilities, overcoming obstacles - and coming out on the other side triumphant - well, there’s just no better boost to our egos. Self-confidence goes through the roof. Feeling strong and vibrant; like no one can stop you.
And suddenly, we’re ready for some new challenge. “Give me all you got!” you think.
Then they do... and you’re off succeeding some more.
If you think you can - you will. And your success will build on itself with these project bricks... after a while you’ll look over and realize, “Hey, I just built something. Just with my own self.”
I bet the little train couldn’t wipe the smile off his face after he climbed the mountain! You will feel the same way.
So get out there, and do something you’re not sure you can!

These apps use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze the context of a conversation. By uploading a screenshot of a match's bio or an ongoing chat, the AI generates several response options tailored to the s
