They say when an angel misses you, they toss a penny down from heaven. Sadly, not everyone knows how much truth there is in this old adage.
Many empaths and highly sensitive people believe that some of the individuals they deal with daily are psychic vampires or energy thieves. I believe this is a myth and a misconception. Yes, I admit, I have felt this way myself on many occasions in the past, until I discovered some truths about the matter. Once the facts were revealed to me, it changed my outlook radically.
There is the fashionable notion nowadays for individuals to be branded as ‘psychics’ or ‘empaths’ if they are emotionally sensitive or display a high level of compassion towards others. It is automatically assumed that people who are emotionally intelligent must also have an exceptional capacity for extra-sensory perception. Nothing could be further from the truth. If anything, this myth is serving to confuse and mislead people, and may even cause further emotional damage, by imposing unreasonable expectations on some highly sensitive or even emotionally vulnerable people.
The year 2011 has kicked off with yet another batch of psychic predictions from all over the globe. It has become an annual tradition to predict as much doom and gloom as possible, and this year the custom was once again upheld with much enthusiasm and zeal.

What is one of the most valuable commodities that anyone can possess in this day and age? What is the one precious thing we all seem to lack? I believe that, given the opportunity, some of us would even trade all of our earthly possessions for a lifelong supply of this magical substance. It is the one thing that can secure us so much happiness, inner peace and long-term fulfillment. Have you guessed what this ‘eighth wonder of the world’ is? Well, it is the virtue of patience, of course!
Our world seems to be in cultural and environmental chaos, but you and I are living in great times! Yes, true, the world has gone somewhat mad. But there is also method in all this. The mess we have made is merely a part of our evolutionary process. The frog had to drink up almost half the pond it lives in, before it could leap across it and into the Light. No, we did not get here by accident. It’s all part of the Big Plan, the Blueprint.
In my line of work there is often an unhealthy obsession with the concept of evil. It appears we are simply not able to rid ourselves of this ‘thing’ we seem to have for the boogeyman (here in my country known as the tokoloshe).
There is only one way to judge the quality of any psychic reading. The moment you finish your conversation with the reader, you should feel ready to make a choice, prepare for a decision… or at least take some sort of action. You should also have a basic idea or plan outlined for the way forward. A good psychic reading will leave you feeling inspired, informed, enlightened and ready to take a step forward in your life, for better or worse. But, sadly, this is not always what people want from their psychic readings.
