Could Ho'oponopono Make Diets and Dieting Easier?

Do you have bad feelings and worries when you hear the word “diet”? Do you focus on the pain of not eating everything you would like? But what could be more painful than feeling overweight, helpless, and uncomfortable? What stories do we tell ourselves to keep happiness and well-being away? Talk about being our own worst enemy! Our bad feelings about ourselves affect our reality. You see, the subconscious mind does whatever it takes to be right, so it keeps attracting situations to show us we are not good enough or don’t deserve things.

Ho'oponopono's Secret - Taking One Hundred Percent Responsibility

The mind can manifest anything that you can imagine. This sounds great, but we aren't conscious of the millions of thoughts playing in the background of our mind, our unconscious mind. Unfortunately, we can't control these thoughts because we aren't aware of them. In reality, while we are imagining, visualizing, and "controlling" two percent of our thoughts, the other 98 percent are playing in the background and possibly undermining the positive focus we're trying to create consciously.

Self Identity Through Ho'oponopono

I will never forget Sarita. I met her when she was more than 100 years old, and she was completely lucid. She is what is commonly known as a healer. Sarita told me that many years ago she worked for the Federal government in the U.S. when she didn't yet have immigration papers. One day she arrived at work and found a piece of paper saying, "There are undocumented people working in this office." She immediately felt identified and thought, "They're talking about me," so she spoke to her boss and confessed her situation. The boss was shocked.

Ho’oponopono Principles

There are a few simple principles and steps to help you look at your life differently and develop a new "true" self image, which will in turn, translate into the success you are seeking. Taking 100% responsibility: Take 100% responsibility for whatever is going on in your life. Once you realize it is just your tapes playing, you can choose to stop them. They are like programs in the computer of your mind. If they weren’t installed there, they wouldn’t play.

Parenting From the Inside Out With Ho'oponopono

Being a parent can be the most rewarding or stressful endeavor in our life. It all depends on us. Our children simply mirror our own beliefs back at us. They can take us to our very farthest boundary, and thus, give us the greatest opportunity to learn and grow. We, as parents, must understand that our relationship with our children depends solely on our thoughts.

Ho'oponopono - Letting Go of Fear

Our reality includes all our programs, memories, beliefs, attachments, emotions, and expectations. These have been gathered through many years. We have been blind and deaf for eons of time. We are completely drugged, looking for love, approval and appreciation in the wrong places and from the wrong people. We search for success, power and material things, thinking that they will "make" us happy. We tend to try to change people because we think if they change, we'll be happy.

Ho'oponopono - Letting Go and Erasing Negative Thinking

Perhaps you've never heard of Ho'oponopono before? But you've probably heard of "The Secret" and the "Law of Attraction." Ho'oponopono is the missing piece to "The Secret" and the "Law of Attraction." After he appeared in "The Secret," Joe Vitale discovered Ho'oponopono from Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. He found it so powerful that now Joe says "Ho'oponopono is beyond beyond "The Secret." Ho'oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian art of problem solving, teaches easy and effective techniques called "cleaning." It shows you how to erase your problems. Dr.

Are You Present? Learning to Live in the Moment

Today I went for a massage and you know what I realized? We are never present. I had to actually bring myself back to the present many times during the massage. Every time I became conscious, I forced myself to be present and enjoy the moment. Every time I became conscious, I had to bring myself from the past or from the future back to the present moment. I actually wanted to be present and couldn't seem to help being pulled again and again to the past or to the future by my thoughts. It was amazing to witness that. Do you realize what we do to ourselves?

Celebrate Today - It's the Ho'oponopono Way

Why is it easier to celebrate other people's achievements than our own? We don't know how to acknowledge or be thankful for our own accomplishments. Notice the energy and enthusiasm we put into spectator sports. In these instances, we forget all about our problems and conce s and celebrate with a passion. According to the ancient Hawaiian problem solving art of Ho'oponopono, everything in our life is a blessing, a gift, another chance to make things right, to make amends.

Ho'oponopono: Addictions and Memories

Addictions are memories, so no matter what our memories are about, we can erase them and let them go. You may be thinking, "But I don’t have an addictive personality," or "I don't have any addictions!" I would like to invite you to reconsider these assumptions. Did you know that thinking is an addiction? We are addicted to thinking. We truly fear that we cannot function properly unless we "think things out", when in reality, things can flow and work much better if we simply let go and trust the Universe. Food is another acceptable addiction.

Finding the Blessings in Loss - Suffering is Optional

Sometimes we are separated from a loved one by death. At other times, we distance ourselves or somebody we are with decides to distance himself or herself from us. Why do we become so attached and dependent and feel we cannot live without the people we love? Why do we lose our concentration and self-trust or are unable to function properly when we lose a loved one? Perhaps because we feel we are nothing without them. Unfortunately there are things we forget . .

Passion

Passion is our compass. If we trust and follow it, success is guaranteed. Unfortunately what often happens is that we go into a place of fear because trusting our passion is something foreign, so it is uncertain. It is the unknown. How many times have you been told that you are good at something and you should be doing it? I personally was told that I was good with numbers and I should be an accountant. I went for it. It took me a long time to realize that was not my heart’s path. We always tend to do what give us security because we don’t enjoy uncertainty.

Ho'oponopono: Memories

My teacher, Dr. Ihaleakalá Hew Len, says we come with the whole thing. Do you know what he means by this? He means when you were born you came full of memories from previous lifetimes and those memories begin replaying the minute you are born. Let me ask you a question, when you go to the movies, is the movie on the screen or coming from the projector? People and situations are like screens. We try to convince the screen we are right. We want the screen to change, but we can't change what is on the screen. If we want things to change on our screen, we need to change. The movie is in us.

Bowing in Japan - Is This Ho'oponopono?

During a trip to Japan with Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, I was impressed with the openness of the Japanese people toward Ho'oponopono. In Okinawa and Okayama. More than 1,000 people attended lectures in each place, despite swine flu warnings. And we had the opportunity to share even more about Ho'oponopono during the many interviews. In addition, we had a small lecture and a special meal with such interesting people. We stayed ove ight at an Inn in Wara. What an incredible experience. First time for me to sleep on the floor--or almost on the floor.

Ho'oponopono and Self-discovery

The most important question you can ever ask yourself is "Who Am I?" Sadly, some of us get so busy "doing life," making money, creating families, running businesses, starting new careers-that we never really stop to figure out who we really are. Knowing yourself is realizing you were created as a unique being, and there is something special you can do better than anybody else.

Taking 100% Responsibility - Peace Begins With You

We are always waiting for things to resolve, for things to change "outside" of ourselves. In reality, when we are at Peace, everything and everybody does change. Everything and everybody are just our memories. As we experience turmoil, fear and anxiety, we can clean with those memories. We can let them go, knowing they are just memories playing. As you erase memories, they are erased from everyone else. So, again, you find peace of mind when you take 100% responsibility. You know that as you let go of whatever is not you, you can find that peace of being yourself, of knowing better.

Today's Economy - Pain Or Profit - The Choice is Yours!

The United States has already slipped into such a deep recession that it could be the most serious since World War II, said Martin Feldstein, President of the Cambridge group, who is considered the official word on economic cycles. If we continue with current trends what can we expect? Possibly gasoline at $5.00/gallon throughout the nation in 2008, major stock market losses, market volatility, credit crunch, home foreclosures nationwide in record numbers, large layoffs and bankruptcies at top U.S. Companies. What are you doing when you watch the news???
