Talent Builders CEO, Barb Giamanco is an experienced sales
strategist and consultant, speaker, trined facilitator and certified sales
coach who has a proven, 30-year track record in generating sales. She capped a
corporate career at Microsoft, where she led sales teams and coached
executives. Throughout her sales career, she has sold close to $1B in products
and services. She has received numerous leadership and sales awards.
n 2002, she founded Talent Builders, Inc. as a sales
training and coaching practice, and has since carved out a substantial niche as
a Sales and Social Media expert. She is a prolific writer, with her first book,
“The New Handshake: Sales Meets Social Media”, co-authored by Joan C. Curtis,
Ed.D. due out August 2010 from ABC-CLIO in Santa Barbara, California under its
Praeger Imprint.
Barb has earned her coaching certificate from the Coaches
Training Institute-accredited by the International Coach Federation; she is a A
Social Media University Faculty Member with SelfGrowth.com, a Sales/Marketing
Faculty Expert with the Profitability Channel and an Inscape Certified DiSC®
Trainer.
Barb resides in Metro Atlanta. An active member of her
community, Barb is the recent recipient of the Atlanta Women in Business
“Results Count” award. She was also named Conference Chair for the Atlanta
Women in Business 20th Anniversary event being hosted in 2012. In
2008, Barb served as the Diversity Director for the SHRM Georgia State Council.
She served on the 2008-2009 Board of Directors for the Workplace Learning
Society for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). In 2006-2007, she
served as the Advisory Council Chairman for U.S. Congressman Tom Price, M.D. In
2005, Barb served as Business and Economy Chair for Congressman Price.
