Welcome, wow that's sound like a ton, the reality of it is, I have consistently plugged away at it over the past six years, often times accomplishing two or three things through one experience. Allow me to share a bit of my journey.
My childhood years were chaos, my parents were divorced when I was six and I lived with my father until age nine, from there it was into foster care. I was told it would only be a couple months, it ended up to be nine years. For generations my family has been in bondage to alcohol and abuse, so naturally I was doing what I had learned, heading down the same road, I didn't even know I had an option.
In my early 20's I started to have some 'crazy' thoughts about myself, my life, and my destiny. Thoughts that suggested I could change, I could be different, I could chart my own course. The mundane of working 9-5 did not go over well with me, I just could not find contentment building someone elses' dreams. With all this swirling in my mind I couldn't find the courage to make a move. Throught self education and coucelling, I started to learned about myself, how my mind works, and how I could change it. By 29 I had worked throught many of the major issues of my childhood, I felt free, alive, I had broken the cycle of bondage. At age 32 I became a pure entrepreneur, supporting my family entirely through the efforts of my own businesses, not rich but 100% independent.
This brief history is just that, history, today I am my own man, free to choose, explore and create my own destiny. I share this with you for two reasons. First to give you hope that overcoming any obstacle is possible. I have learned there are millions of stories just like mine, most much worse. Secondly, these things happened for a reason. Overcoming challenges, heartache, depression and the actions of others is what has shaped my character and strenghtened me to embrace the life of an entrepreneur, an adventurer. My past stoked the fire that burns within me for entrepreneurialship. Starting businesses, or buying real estate with borrowed money is easy compared to my past.
I trust that my story has inspired, encouraged or touched you in some way. This site is my outward expression of service to you. My task as an entrepreneur is to contribute, to give what I can to others, in order to spur them on to good works and deeds.
Today, my wife Pam and I have three children and continue to live the satisfying lives of entrepreneurs, we have achieved time and money freedom which means more and more of our efforts are spent living with passion and finding interesting ways to serve others.
