Carla Jo Masterson first started her career singing on stage. She has performed with famous artists such as Paul Anka. Barry Manilow to name a few and has recorded many times with different groups. Carla has always loved to sing and harmonize with different musical instruments especially with native american flutes. She still sings and performs and composes her own music. 

 

Carla loves to delve within to discover more about herself in the way of creativity. So on one of her many inner explorations, she decided at the request of a friend and Amazing artist, Melanie Taylor Kent to write a children's book based on feelings. Carla with excitement in her heart listened inwardly and wrote her first book titled "What's On The Other Side Of The Rainbow?" Her book helps children to to become aware of their feelings and emotions. With Carla's wonderful creation Mr. Positively the Rainbow Cloud and his emotions, LOVE, ANGER, LAUGHTER, SHY, FEAR, FRIENDSHIP and JOY as their guide, they will learn that there are reasons for their feelings and emotions; Constructive reasons. And through loving ouselves and eachother the way we would want to be loved is the Key to inner peace and living in harmony with our fellow man.

 

Carla is now a published author and has enjoyed performing and reading to thousands of children. Her book is available in public Libraries and public schools as well as hundreds of pre schools nation wide. 

 

Carla continues to write and is now in the process of getting her 2nd book published "The Dream Puppy" through a wonderful publishing company Mascott Books.

She is also wanting to delve into the movie industry with her first movie script based on her book.... "What's On the Other Side of the Rainbow? (The Secret Of the Golden Mirror..:-)
