Catherine Doyle is a health educator, meditation teacher and Bowen therapist.
Catherine started her journey into natural health over 20 years ago with a passionate interest in aromatherapy and essential oils, yoga and meditation.
When an ongoing RSI injury threatened her IT career, it was an obvious choice to investigate natural therapies as her next career move. Wanting to gain an inside view of all the therapies available, and wanting to bring this life-changing information to as many people as possible, Catherine founded the popular health and wellbeing website, Natural Bloom in 2001. Today, Natural Bloom has articles written by hundreds of health professionals, and Catherine continues to be hands-on, managing the website and editing the articles prior to publication to maintain the high-standards that the website is known for.
Catherine continued to try many therapies to ‘fix’ her RSI problems, but it wasn’t until she tried Bowen therapy that she finally found lasting relief. Catherine was so impressed with this gentle therapy, that she decided to train as a Bowen therapist herself. Specializing in pregnancy Bowen, Catherine has been able to help women with problems such as back pain, nausea, stress relief, digestive discomforts, and preparing for childbirth.
Catherine now has a young family of her own, and while she doesn’t find much time for Bowen at the minute, she is still leading regular meditation groups in her community. Her latest project is bringing meditation to pregnant women to help them relax through their pregnancy and look forward to childbirth and motherhood.
