Your Belief does help to create your reality, however seeing is believing, so being a clairvoyant I have always believed in Spirit Guides. Seeing, feeling, sensing, smelling or just knowing that your Guides are with you is something that everyone has access to. It's all a matter of practice.
There are few Universal Laws and the one that definitely applies to Spirit Guides is the Law of Non-Interference. So you need to remember to ASK for their assistance. My belief is that you come in with a finite number of Spirit Guides in your Main Band of Guides. Generally this group is with you from birth to death. This core group is made up of a: Master teacher, Universal teacher, Joy Guide(s), Healer/Dr./Physician, Guardian Angel, Alchemist, Astral Travel Guide and a Gatekeeper/Guardian.
Only your Gatekeeper/Guardian has been given permission to "interfere" with your free will. Their job is to keep you alive until such time as you reach one of your "exit doors." It's up to you as to which exit door you will choose. Other wise your Guardian is the one who tells you to "Slow down" or "Stay home" or cautions you STRONGLY to take another path NOW!
As you progress through life, with different interests and challenges, other Spirit Guides will come into your outer band of Guides. This number can vary dramatically, depending on what you are going through. People can literally have hundreds of Spirit Guides in their outer band - coming and going all the time. So for instance, a person who is involved in doing healing work would naturally have Guides who are experts in Healing. It wouldn't be uncommon for noted physicians in Spirit to be there, as well as Shamans, Herbalists, and specialists. Often times loved ones who cross over choose to become a Spirit Guide for individual family members or for people with who they shared a srong bond.
By this definition, a Spirit Guide always is working for your Highest and Best Good. Their intentions always are in alignment with the Light of Love, the great stream of Universal Consciousness.
Getting Started With Elivia Melodey
Due to the Universal Law of Non-Interference, it's up to you to invite your Spirit Guides into your life. Other wise they will continue as they have always done, working quietly behind the scenes, waiting patiently. We are all made up of vibrating energy and only appear to be solid. Einstein proved this long ago. Those in Spirit are simply vibrating at a higher frequency.
Like tuning a radio dial, it's up to you to consciously take the time to work at raising your vibratory rate in order to match that of your Spirit Guides. This is traditionally done through meditation. Now every one meditates every day, however most people aren't aware that they are doing this. You see them on the highways, at the wheel in a deep meditative state - that is until you pass them and they "wake up." Daydreaming is also a form of meditation. A conscious practice of meditation involves stilling the mind. Traditionally for a beginning student, this practice is done at the same time every day and for no longer than 20 minutes.
Prior to going into meditation, always ask for blessing and protection or say a short prayer. You are about to open your self wide open and you don't leave the door of your house or car wide open and leave town, do you? So protect yourself first always. This way you won't leave yourself open to any old stranger who might choose to visit.
You should have no agenda when you go into meditation, other than to still your mind inorder to connect with Source Energy. Conscious breathing is a great way to move into these higher frequencies. Breathing slowly and completely, watch your breath move through your entire body, putting all of your attention on your breath. Watch your breath as it relaxes your physical and emotional body. Your mental body, oftentimes is the greatest challenge to quiet. Place no judgment on yourself when you discover that you are thinking just notate that you are having a though and let it go. Allow your thoughts as they do come up to blow out of your mental sky as though it's a windy day.
Once you have fully merged with Source Energy, or you have reached that Sweet Spot of Pure Bliss, - and this may take 19 of your 20 minutes to get there - you are ready to invite your Spirit Guides to connect with you. Your opportunity is to remain open and receptive with all of your senses on full alert to observe. This is an interactive process so ask your Guides to come in and to give you a sign that they are there. Go with what ever comes up as every person receives information differently. For instance, Spirit Guides can make their presence known in a variety of ways. It would be so simple if they just popped in, in 3-D video and said "Hi there!" This is rarely the case. Their signals/signs could be a fragrance, a sound, a soft or hard touch, a feeling that comes over you or a color that comes into your awareness. Be sure to let your Guides know what you are getting and giving them that feedback. They won't know for sure if they have made the connection until you do let them know. Then I always advise to ask your Spirit Guide for their name.
The walk in getting to know one's Spirt Guides is a walk in Trust. Building that trust is about knowing the signs you are receiving from Spirt as well as who they are coming from. It's like getting to know a new friend, that has always been there and who will continue to walk by your side every day of your life.
