Of all the enjoyment I get from working in the digital economy, my greatest pleasure comes from coaching and mentoring early stage entrepreneurs finding their way in a new environment. In days gone by I trained sales teams and individual sales professionals in the dark arts of prospecting, negotiation, closing and consolidation as well as advising corporate clients on sales and marketing strategy and practice. An advantage of my advancing years is that I’ve seen both the old and the new, the good and the bad, and I’ve picked up a few insights along the way.
