I am originally from Newton Falls, OH, a small town in the northeastern part of the state, where I found my first mentors whom would help me to become the person I am today. These included my Mom, my boyhood pastor, Rev. Myrl Gephart and a Catholic priest, Father Carl Kish. They would lay the foundation that would lead me to great adventures and experiences that have culminated into me living my passion of having a business where I help others become the best they can be.
I attended The Ohio State University on an academic schorlarship and graduated in 1982. I am a Life Member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association and an eight year veteran of the U.S. Army, where I served as a Military Police Officer and Criminal Investigator. I have had the privilege to be a witness to some of the most important events in our history, including the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the first ever high level meeting of US and Soviet military personnel on American soil. I have been to 27 countries and 24 states, protected Department of Defense & foreign dignataries, as well as being elected to public office.
I have been a speaker, trainer, educator, seminar leader and life coach for almost 30 years. In fact, I was doing what is Life Coaching today before the term was even coined.
Now I add author to that list! My first book, Rare Sense: One Day It Will Be Common; A Practical Guide to a Fulfilled and Balanced Life is the result of my 30+ years studying writings from all the major religions as well as American Indian Spiritualism, Taoism and other spiritual traditions. I have also studied the teachings and writings of such spiritual & socially influential people as Ghandi, Confucious, Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, Martin Luter King, Deepak Chopra, The Buddha, The Dalai Lama, Mother Theresa, Abraham Lincoln, Joe Vitale, Albert Einstein, Napoleon Hill, Helen Keller, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Wallace D. Wattles and others. I have fused together everything I have learned from these wonderful sources into my book to help others along their personal and spiritual paths.
I have conducted speeches & seminars for tens of thousands of people around the world on very diverse topics, everything from leadership to goal setting and personal development to effective management skills. Now, I am working with people on integrating the three parts of them to live a holistic, happy and healthy life. People of all ages have benefited from my seminars & lectures. They have been described as humorous, inspirational & life changing!
I have dedicated my life to helping others and I live my passion everyday!
