Janet has been breeding Labrador Retrievers since 1993. She works with her husband to breed labradors for loving family companions that can still do the work they were bred for - retrieving. They have been training hunting dogs and competing with their labs since 1999. Janet has had a love of animals all of her life, has a B.S. in Wildlife Resources, is a member of The Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac, The Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club, and is active in her local Humane Society. Janet helps train and exercise the dogs, is the photographer and videographer, maintains their website, and keeps up-to-date with the latest information on raising puppies and canine nutrition.

The most important trait in raising and training dogs is PATIENCE. Know that they will test you just like children, and there will be setbacks along with successes. Stay clam, praise each success, and you will gain the trust of your dog.
