After graduating High School in 1976, Ken spent several years working warehouse jobs, (because that's what his dad did.) In 1985 Ken decided he wanted to go off to College. He didn't want to go to school locally so he ventured off to the Frozen Northern reigon of Lyndonville, Vermont. After spending three years at Lyndon State College studying communications and Professional Broadcat Video, Ken's carreer took a sharp left. He (Left) school in May of 1988 and went on to continue his studies in a slightly different field. Professional Photography.
After spending another two full years at The New York Institute of Photography out of NYC, Ken began his carreer as a Certified Professional Photographer. After doing his duty at the studios (that every photographer goes through at the beginning...namely Sears and K-Mart Portrait Studios) he moved on, did a year stint at Glamour Shots Studios before landing (what he thought) was finally a "Real Photography Gig" with Lifetouch Church Directories and Portraits.
Ken spent 8 years with Lifetouch traveling all over the south east until one day while on a photo shoot in Savannah, GA. Ken injured his back while setting up a mobile studio. After the doctor's assessment, it was determined that Ken had permenantly ruptured three disks in his lower back. Since Ken had originally injured his back when in his 20's (working a warehouse job) it was determined that he could no longer work outside the home. It took Ken over four months of Physical therapy to be able to walk again and the job with Lifetouch was done.
Ken began looking for ways to make money at home and on the internet. Since he knew a liitle about Ebay, he started there. Ken struggled for five long years trying to figure out what "Nitch Market" would work. Just about the time he was ready to throw his computer out the second story window, he found his mark. Selling old reproduced black and white photos. He then expanded into affiliate marketing selling digital products from his own website that dealt with Making Money in Stock Photography, Selling on Ebay and making money using the power of The Public Domain.
Ken now currently lives and works full time as an Entreprenuer out of his home in Sunny Jacksonville, Florida with his co-owner (and wife of eight years) Kim. They are the Founders of True Focus Group, a Christan home based company that Specialize in Graphic Design, Ebay Sales, Affiliate products and Stock Photography.
