Kimberly Kassner, author of the book You’re a Genius-and I Can Prove It! and the DVD/CD series EmpowerMind for Teens graduated cum laude in psychology and communications despite her learning differences.

She began her career in sales with Pepsi-cola, was promoted 4 times in 7 years and was one of the top ten performers in the country in her last four positions. She was ranked number 8 in the country and number one in her region two consecutive years. She worked less than 35 hours a week, while co-teaching and teaching the 14 week Dale Carnegie course, "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

With the business success behind her, she decided at 29 years old (in 1991) to make a difference in families and help children and adults master their ability to learn; thus, the two day workshop EmpowerMind was born. With her humorous style and contagious enthusiasm she has had unparalleled success with hundreds of thousands of students from all walks of life.
