Kym Gordon Moore, author of “Diversities of Gifts: Same Spirit,” an eBook, "Alphabet Soup: 5 Main Ingredients for Turning Words into a Bowl of Hot Topics!" and a contributing author to "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks Mom."  is an award winning poet, author, syndicated freelance writer and transformational speaker. She is a member of the North Carolina Writer’s Network, co-founder of Favorite Things for a CAUSE, American Marketing Association, an advisory board member for Faith Ministries, Inc., American Author’s Association, Women's Intercultural Exchange and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  She was selected as one of the recipients for the 2009 General Mills Feeding Dreams Community Service Award for her volunteer work with the Dove's Nest, a subsidiary of The Charlotte Rescue Mission.  

With over twenty nine years of writing and speaking experience throughout her corporate career, in industries from fashion and special event coordination to marketing, public relations and sales, Kym produced newsletters, flyers, press releases, essays and coordinated radio and online interview sessions for International Makeup Artists and local authors. Currently, she is completing works on two book projects. She and her husband live in North Carolina.
