Greetings, my name is Marybeth Haines. The following will give you a little bit about me;
It all began when..........
A strong memory of when I was very young, was when a teacher asked me; “What do you want to do when you grow up?” I remember feeling stunned as I thought to myself “I have no clue !”. The teacher then followed up with saying that I needed to take courses in high school that would correspond to what my occupation would be. Well, at that time, I never found out what it was of what I wanted to do or be. So, I followed the path of courses that were of interest to me, thinking that by the time I was completed high school, I surely would know what I wanted.
The years continued to pass and I graduated high school and again was asked the question; “What occupation do you want to pursue now that you are completed high school?”. Once again, those feelings returned of being overwhelmed with the words saying once again…. “I have no clue !”. So, I decided to continue to College and took a program that once again sounded like it would be of interest to me.
Completing the program of Educational Resources and Special Needs and further upgrading of my degree to Applied Behaviour Analysis, led me to working in a field supporting those with developmental disabilities for ten years. I lucked out!! I found something that I really enjoyed doing. After 3 to 4 years of working in this field, I felt myself becoming “burnt out” and felt I needed a change, but I held on until the 10 year mark and then made the decision to change; move out of my comfort zone and move on to something else.
So, I continued my path finding occupations in areas such as accounting, customer service and then health and wellness. Finally, I found the golden ticket ! Health and wellness was my forte. I learned consistently by taking several courses and completing full education as a Certified Reflexologist.
Having the desire to work from home was becoming stronger and stronger in me as time went on. So, I then began to attract like minded individuals and became part of a wonderful team.
