Dr. Payam Ghassemlou, Ph.D., MFT, SEP, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering online psychotherapy throughout California, Oregon, and Florida. With more than 30 years of counseling experience, he works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC communities, neurodivergent individuals, and people from a wide range of cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Payam’s integrative, body-centered approach draws on psychotherapy, mindfulness and meditation, somatic approaches to healing, and life coaching. As a member of Somatic Experiencing® International and an educator who has taught at the David Geffen School of Medicine, he brings extensive clinical and educational experience to his work.
