Rebbekah started Heal Yourself Talk Radio out of a desire to reach out to others and teach them how to learn how to heal their mind, body and soul. After years of dealing with depression and other physical ailments, Rebbekah realized she wanted to help others learn how to deal with depression and other areas of life. Heal Yourself Talk Radio is a great starting point for information no matter what you are dealing with in your life.
Rebbekah started the Heal Yourself Magazine to bring together some of the finest authors, products and reviews for the health and wellness industry. After many months of working behind the scenes the time was right and in November of 2008 Heal Yourself Magazine was founded as another resource from Heal Yourself Talk Radio.

About Rebbekah White
I am a 36 year old mom to 3 boys ages 15, 13 and 7 and have been married to my highschool sweetheart for 18 years. I have been dealing with depression now for almost 14 years. My oldest son was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome two years ago and last fall my youngest son was diagnosed with Austism. My middle son was born with asthma and my husband is a Type 1 Diabetic…why am I sharing all of this? Because I have so many different aspects of my life, I am able to share my own experiences and help others who may be dealing with the same thing in their own lives.
Because of my own personal journey I felt a strong urge to start an internet talk radio show to offer guidance and help for those who are looking for ways to heal their mind, body and soul no matter what the source of pain is. I have lived with depression my whole life plus over the years have suffered off and on from Lupus. After years of learning to deal with depression, feeling all alone and looking for resources and others to talk to I felt a calling to start a website to help others. Two years after starting that website I wanted to reach out to more people not just women and I was given the idea to do a podcast and sold that first site…so on August 10, 2006 Heal Yourself Talk Radio was born and has been going strong ever since.

The Heal Yourself Community!
One of my goals for the Heal Yourself Community is to bring together all holistic, body, spirit, and wellness radio show hosts and speakers together in one place. The purpose of this is so we all have one place to go when we are looking for speakers for our radio shows. I do believe that this is a very valuable tool for all radio show hosts.
I have been doing Heal Yourself Talk Radio since August of 2006. During the past three years I have learned secrets to finding wonderful speakers for HYTR. However the time it took to find these speakers and to do research took a lot of time that I could have used in marketing my radio show and products. I remember thinking and searching for one place that had a list of all speakers in my niche however there was none. So when I started creating the Heal Yourself Community I wanted to add this idea.
It is my desire to provide a one stop place for radio show hosts and speakers to be able to find each other. To save time, find wonderful resources and to showcase their talents.

I have always been a research hound and having all this information in my office propelled me to share with others. On the advice of a business coach I started a Podcast called Heal Yourself Talk Radio on August 10, 2006 and continue to look for information that will help both myself and my audience heal their lives.
I have learned a lot about myself doing my shows, more than I ever thought possible. Not only does HYTR help my listeners but it helps me grow more as a person as well and for that I am truly thankful that I stepped out of my box and got over my fear of speaking :)
