Rob Schneider has been interested in consciousness exploration since the 1960s, when he taught yoga at a retreat in Northern California. Most of the Indian yoga and meditation masters of the era made guest visits to the retreat during those years and he learned something from each of them. Eventually he traveled to India and spent a year there, mostly in the ashrams of Neem Karoli Baba.
Consciousness exploration is, in Rob's view, an ever-unfolding process. It is not just the peak states of consciousness that are significant, but the lows as well that guide us and teach us in life - if we are open and willing to learn from them. He does not consider himself an "expert" in consciousness, just another consciousness explorer.
Rob now resides in Cambodia, where he works as a freelance writer from his home in the beautiful seaside village of Sihanoukville. He is also the proprietor of an online bookshop, Brainwaves Books and Stuff.
