Happy Earth Day 2009

Forty years ago, Earth Day marked the start of the modern environmental movement, but back then it was really considered a kind of hippy event, sort of like a cousin to Woodstock only there was no music. Way back n 1972, only 36 percent of the nations streams were safe for uses such as fishing and swimming.
