Ron Rink is retired from a long career as a commercial banker and as
a CFO for a large Vermont school system. Since his retirement he has
been active as a teacher, an author, and an Internet Marketer.
Many years ago Ron discovered that at his most basic level, he was a
pacifist. Even though he grew up as a tough “street-kid/runaway” on the
streets of Detroit — even though he was a leader in a large street gang
— even though he fought in a war — it was during that wartime
leadership experience that he discovered, that for him, violence was
not a workable solution to problems, and that peaceful solutions were
much stronger and more lasting.
His studies in pursuit of that elusive inner peace have led him to
follow the teachings of some of the great teachers of eastern
philosophies who teach with a western point of view. Ron is also a
practicing Buddhist.
His writings will be from that inner-peace point of
view with the aim of helping the readers find the peace
within each of them by learning to live in the Present.
The best way to learn how I think about life is to go to both of my blogs and read the things I write and think about. I update both of these on Thursday each week -- unless something else gets in the way.
This blog: http://www.theleaderinside.com leans toward spiritual or self-awakening topics. All articles are written by me.
This blog: http://www.wecould2.com is about health and nutrition. I had a couple of heart attacks back in the early 1980s and have been a health advocate ever since.
I hope to see you as one of my regular readers.
