Nicole Sheldon, L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M. is a licensed Acupuncturist and board certified Chinese Herbal medicine practitioner in Chongqing, China. She has spent her life studying medicine with a BA in Physical Anthropology and a pre-med concentration from Tufts University, and through to her 4 years at the renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City where she obtained her masters of science in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). She has an excellent balance between a strong biomedical understanding and a passion for TCM which integrates the body and mind as a whole. Whilst doing her masters she interned at HJD (the Hospital for Joint Diseases), St. Vincent's Hospital, and Kamwo Pharmacy in New York City. She continued her studies after completing her masters degree and apprenticed with Dr. Wang Ju Yi in Beijing, China obtaining a certification from his Clinical Channel Theory Research program. Nicole has also completed her NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) training at Lincoln Hospital with Dr. Michael Smith. One of Nicole's passions under the umbrella of TCM work is to incorporate her passion for cooking and nutrition into her treatments by using Chinese medicinal cooking techniques as part of her treatment plans.
