Dubbed the Queen of Calm by her clients, Sue Paulson has been delighting audiences as a professional speaker in North America for over twenty years. She first found her place at the front of the room teaching personal growth workshops.
As a college instructor, workshop presenter, and communications coach, she offers practical solutions to build speaking skills. Whether clients are scared-stiff or seasoned enough to enter the "high-stakes talking" arena, Sue guides them to discover and polish their own unique voices.
When called upon to help companies deal with the negative effects of stress, Sue offers her "Safety Valves for Pressure-Cooking Times", a presentation filled with laughter and useful information.
In 2003, Sue won a North American award with her most recent book, Tips & Tools to Speak with Confidence – Keys to Finding Your Voice. She captured a first place IPPY Award in the Self-Help Category of the Independent Publishers Book Awards. Dubbed a 'workshop in a book', its companion CD-Rom adds two hours of video and audio instruction to the written material.
Her first book, Tips & Tools for Student Success – Keys to Higher Grades hit the Edmonton Journal’s best seller list for non-fiction. Her work with study skills led to international assignments in South America, where she was asked to introduce innovative learning tools to students in Guyana.
Even when you can’t see her, the voice you hear on that website or company answering system could be hers, as she works with clients to enhance their communications impact.
Always fascinated with new ideas, Sue not only loves to learn, she is thrilled to share what she learns with an ever-expanding circle of clients and colleagues.
My grandmother, Edna Benjamin, was fond of saying, "I don't want to miss anything in this life." When she died at age 83, she hadn't missed much. I like to think I'm following her lead.
