As a best selling author I am consistently sought after as a speaker, and I am quoted often. One of my quotes was voted to be included in the Top Healthy Thoughts of 2007.
My greatest passion is seeing people live the life of their dreams while assisting others to do the same. I work in harmony with my clients to discover solutions, not just answers or guesses, to their challenginig obstacles, bouncing back and living their visions.
Although I am the recipient of several awards and acknowledgments, I credit my best education to The University of Hard Knocks, with crash courses in taking risks and advanced learning from bouncing back. Throughout the twists, turns and painful bumps in my life, I have rebuilt my self-esteem by reminding my self that who I am, is not who other people judge me to be, nor their acceptance of me. For several years I have advocated for Self Investment rather than self-improvement.
Why I advocate self investment, not self improvement:
"Your 'Self” was created in the image and likeness of your Creator. How can you believe that your 'Self' needs to be or can be improved? Self improvement is contradictory to your Creation." original quote
Investing in ourselves starts with understanding the difference between the Self, (the person, the being) and a person's behaviors.
"In all persons, all creatures, the Self is the innermost essence. And it is identical with Brahman: our real Self is not different from the ultimate Reality called God." ~The Upanishads
I have been described in the press as a real life example of an impassioned visionary. I began my career at age nine when I opened my first lemonade stand and a backyard carnival. Throughout my childhood I was inspired by the successful business people I saw. I used this early education as a foundation when I started my first of many unique and interesting entrepreneurial ventures at age 19.
My passion for the future of today’s youth, and a belief that our future is in their hands, I work with select charitable organizations that assist young people with their career options.
