Hello and welcome. I am licensed in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am also a Registered Play Therapist and a Colorado Addictions Counselor II.
I provide counseling services to children (2+), adolescents, adults, and families. My specialty includes childhood trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, witnessing domestic violence or any other traumatic event. I also provide supervision to other professionals working on obtaining their license in the field.
My approach is supportive, warm, and collaborative. I believe that the client/counselor relationship is important in the therapeutic process. I am integrative in approach as I believe that no single therapy is beneficial for everyone. I use various counseling theories and techniques to treat the "whole" person. Depending on your goals in therapy I may draw from, experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic, and/or systemic approaches.
