Guess what the following people have in common? I have a friend who wanted to be a screenwriter at one point, but he never wrote a single line. He's excuse was that he couldn't think of a script that was guaranteed to sell. I have a photography client who hasn't touched her camera in over a year because she's waiting for an ideal photo project. I have a family member who has been living with his parents for over five years because he refuses to get a job, and is waiting for a million dollar business idea.
Deeply connect to yourself and live from a place of centerdness, presence and fullness – Become Someone You Haven’t Met Yet! "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening [an energy] that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, ...
Hey there everyone!! There are so many different kinds of freedoms that we may enjoy. Becoming conscious and distinguishing between the various freedoms can allow us to more completely exercise each freedom, and appreciate them all more thoroughly. I read once that those who can read and choose not to, are no better off than those who are illiterate. Exercise your freedoms. Here are my 12 distinctions (and a bonus!): 1. Freedom of Religion
Is the word success synonymous with the word wealth? To answer this question, who do you bring to mind when you think about success? Do you envision somebody like Donald Trump or do you see somebody like Mother Theresa instead? I'm sure we'd all agree that, with the wealth and high profile name he has, Donald Trump could be considered a success. But, wealth notwithstanding, couldn't Mother Theresa also be considered hugely successful? The point is these two words, wealth and success, are not the same.

Christopher Carrick is the Official Guide to Transformation . Christopher Carrick works with people who are undergoing spiritual transformation. TB Wright I am a firm believe in the "tell the truth now, tell the truth later" method of living a successful life. Truth is authentic, clean, and it just simply feels right. We have a great method of disce ment for catching when people are telling the truth, including ourselves, and it's our feelings. So the best way to overcome anger is to tell the truth about it. If that feels right, then you are on the right path. You don’t have to agree with these steps for them to work well for you either. And know that it isn't that anger doesn't come up for all of us, it does.
Are you addicted to seeing what is missing in your life instead of the fullness that already exists? After hearing my inner voice give thanks for my lovely home and wishing it had larger rooms and more storage, I had an epiphany. Suddenly I realized that giving thanks and asking for more at the same time is a habitual pattern with me.
How to succeed in network marketing seems to be a very popular topic yet so elusive to most people. A big reason for this is that not enough people are familiar with the challenges of how to build a successful MLM organization. What, did you think success in network marketing was going to be easy? Is that what you were lead to believe? Home based network marketing success is possible, but no, it is not easy. Not to worry though. If you seek answers on how to become successful in network marketing then you're in the right place.
Have you ever sat in wonder of the miraculous Universe we live in? Gazed up at the sky on a starry night wondering how it all unfolds so effortlessly? Watched the plants in your garden break ground, sprout and blossom, bringing beauty to your world? Noticed serendipitous events unfold in your ...
“Moral Hazard” is a term coined by banks and insurance companies to determine the economic risk they face when they lend or insure a property for more than the property is worth. This has been a growing problem during the recent lengthy recession . . . and may also pose a risk to you personally! In the case of real estate, the risk is there because there is NO incentive for the owner to take care of – or finish paying for – the property if the balance is upside down. The risk to the lender and insurance companies is obviously the loss of book value.
Jay, my 19 year old son, is baaaaaaaaack. He spent two months up in northern Ontario, Canada, planting trees for a reforestation company ... the best and worst of times ... tears, laughter, learning to make hemp and bead jewellery, playing guitar, BIG food, and best of all, living in a tent in ...

Lest intellectualism that today is immersed in setting up big cities everywhere was instead diverted in making plans of setting up advanced villages we would have witnessed small self dependent advanced rural areas everywhere. Neither thus would urban areas get over populated, become dirty and endure all forms of distortions and nor due to talent from villages running away to urban areas rural areas get rendered withered and depleted. Whether in self or public regions wars sh
True story: the other day I was visiting a friend and I overheard her say to her son, "one day, when we're rich, we're going to..." When I heard her say this I had to bite my tongue. I bit my tongue not because I fault her for wanting more out of life but because she is doing nothing to actually get it. Actually, she is doing one thing; she's hoping to one day become rich and successful. She, like millions and millions of other people, hope for a better tomorrow.
Today is the new moon, at 4:22AM PST. A new moon window lasts approximately 24 hours, and is the perfect time, in each moon cycle, to set new intentions, to re-format what is forming in our lives. This new moon is the 'last' in the calendar year 2008 in the West, and has some auspicious aspects ...
When I used to work for a photography agency, I'd get to sit in on a few meetings with photographers as they presented their books. Having just started in photography, I was always impressed with their photographs. My boss, however, was not.
Does the name Jeff Foxworthy sound familiar to you? He’s host of the show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” He gained his original fame as a standup comic using his signature one liners which started with the phrase, “you know you’re a redneck when...” I hope Mr Foxworthy won’t mind if I borrow his concept for this article.
Most of the time when we are faced with choices and decisions, we anguish over them because of all of the baggage that we have built up over the years. Our decisions are made more difficult because of fears, anxieties, past memories and other emotions that press in from all corners. We allow our ...
Sometimes the simplest techniques are the most powerful and most profound. This is certainly true of the technique of blessing. It invokes the positive power of the Universe to heal, harmonize, and increase. This is a Huna technique called Pomaika’i that can you can use for health, prosperity, happiness and success. Though simple, it has the power to totally change your life. Blessing is simply giving positive recognition to something or someone. You can do this through:
In the journey of personal mastery it is important to recognize and own the very core “powers” or functions of your mind-body system. It is important to recognize and own your “Power Zone”. When you do this, you establish the foundation for your personal empowerment, responsibility, and proactivity. People who block this have a strong tendency to let other people and circumstances determine their state of mind. By worrying about what others may or may not think of you, you give them permission to determine your state of mind. And, every time you do this, you give them your power.
Everywhere you turn, you hear the words "going green". As a small business owner you probably wonder what you can do to help the environment. Can I really make a difference? Well you can, and here are a few steps that you can start implementing to create a positive impact on the environment. Going green does not have to be hard, it can be the easiest thing you do. 1. Recycle. Permanently place a recycling bin in arm's length from your mail bin so you can quickly get rid of th
CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Coaching provides support for leaders, prepares them for future opportunities Just like writers need editors and children need parents, current and future executives need ... coaches. And executive coaching or one-on-one business mentoring isn't just for a company's top officers. More companies today are hiring executive coaches - who tend to focus on improving communication, time management and stress management skills - to groom their high-potential employees, changing the way firms develop and maintain their corporate culture and train executives-to-be.
I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but here goes: STOP TRYING TO BE SUCCESSFUL! I have a cousin, Larry, who lives in Los Angeles, and has fallen into the trap of trying to be a celebrity entrepreneur. Larry buys expensive clothes, is obsessed with sports cars, and always talks about money. Larry’s Facebook page is filled with photos of himself with random gorgeous women, or standing next to a sports car. Larry also has tons of credit card debt, and probably has more money going out then in.
Adding "ah" moments to your day is like sipping on a cool glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, or drinking a cup of warm cocoa or tea on a cool winter’s eve, or gazing at the stars in the midnight sky, or paddling a kayak or canoe on the still morning or evening waters. These surreal times seem to create a silent lucidity in the soul where the runaway train of thoughts cease for just an instant. This space where you feel connected, alive, peaceful, and content all in one instant, these are "ah" moments.
If you are focusing on the headlines that drive us deeper and deeper into a sense of panic over the economy, and fuel the recession, then I encourage you to change your viewpoint. Focus your vision on creating a short duration for this financial stress and using Conscious Creation to manifest a ...
We are so used to always seeing things from our own viewpoint. We know that what we experience is determined by our beliefs and filters and that these beliefs and filters were set in place at a young age before the life you are living now even existed. Yet we are so attached to our limited views that we will defend them aggressively in any argument. If you find yourself in a quarrel with someone, try this simple technique to expand your perspective and enable you to see a problem with more awareness and compassion. 1) First, see things from the 1st perspective.
Goals And The Value Of Certainty and Faithnnby, TB Wrightnn It was my daughter's bike trip down the Virginia Creeper Trail, and I was arriving just as the seventeen mile journey was starting. I had to be late in order to accommodate attending my son's field trip the previous sleepover night of ...
For some people, the holiday season is very stressful. People stress over not having enough time to prepare the way they'd like or not having enough money to buy the presents they'd like. Social demands and expectations family members may have contribute to the stress of the season. Not only do people end up in debt, they may end up frustrated, angry or depressed because of the stresses the holidays bring. The stresses of the holiday season often take their toll on us in three areas: Time/Energy; Financial and Emotional. Time/Energy refers to the demands upon your time and energy.
Love, attention, accolades, gifts – these are all wonderful things to receive. When you ponder over the items you would like in your life, how many do you actually have? The difference between having these and not is in receiving; that ability to allow into our lives all that we truly desire. ...
We all know how powerful our subconscious mind is right? The great thing about your subconscious is that it can’t make the difference between fiction and reality and this is one of the many reasons why I want to share with you this process that will help you boost your self esteem and self confidence and eventually improve your life.
I was having a telephone coaching session with one of my clients the other day. She wants to build a networking business. Pretty common. This particular individual is one of the most gracious, warm, generous people you'll ever meet. And her self-confidence is growing everyday. The one piece ...
Some days you may feel like you are walking around wearing a sign that must say, "Push My Anger Button". This person, and in some cases more than one person, or even this article may turn your calm into a storm. You were just fine until someone said _______ or did _________, that to you. Then wham, bam, pow, wow, you became all fired up. Sometimes your anger/frustration comes flying out at the person without any notice at all. You might find yourself venting your feelings to another person or other people about what this person did to you or how this person got you all riled up.r
Without appreciation, life feels dull and lifeless. All the beauty, goodness, vibrancy, peace, light, love, kindness, mystery, magic and miracles go unnoticed and, what a shame that would be. It's important to acknowledge and share appreciation because there is much in life to be thankful for even on the days when there seems there isn't. Appreciation is like a helping hand lifting you up and encouraging you when times are tough, and then anchoring you once again to the goodness and beauty always surrounding and supporting you.
We live in a time of incredible potential, perched on the precipice of massive transformation…or massive destruction. We get to choose how we design our lives and, in doing so, the world responds. Our choices become our manifested reality that we might see ourselves reflected in our own ...
A while ago I received an email from a listener to my radio show Logical Soul Talk. During the show I discussed motivation, and a concept I call “branding from the soul,” or a way of finding your passion for success in business. The email went something like this . . . “Hi, Michael - I listened in to [your show] yesterday which had me totally intrigued, enough to go back and listen to other podcasts. Such a rich resource there, really! But I have a question: When defining ‘passion’ you asked the question, ‘Is it something you are willing to die for?’
Revenge is a confession of pain.” Today it is hard to think of much else. The news that Osama Bin Laden was dead arrived last night, and I wasn’t alone in my shock. It is news I thought would never arrive. We all remember 9/11 and where we were that day. None of us was alone in our grief and anger. And for some, that suffering has continued for 10 long years. And I, like most Americans, will not grieve the loss of Bin Laden.
Relationship goals benefit you emotionally and spiritually as well as enrich your day to day experiences and connection to yourself, others, and the divine creator. Many people concentrate on business, personal, or physical goals which are very beneficial, but all too often they overlook or don’t feel relationship goals are as important. They are just as valuable, if not more so, because at the end of the day when your work is done, we are faced with ourselves and the interactions we have with others in our lives.
When we allow a past disappointment or betrayal to linger in our minds and bodies, we pay a price. Anger, guilt, hatred, resentment, bitte ess, and despair can lead to disruptive relationships, emotional illness, physical disease and less enjoyment in life. When someone says, “I cannot forgive this person” or “I cannot forgive myself,” s/he prevents the possibility of grace entering the “wound” and healing it with divine Love.
Tom Wright What every single person on earth does, is to make other people wrong for the intentions that they imagined were behind acts that were done. Actual acts often happen, they are what is real. But the degree of significance that is assigned to that act, the meaning that is assigned to that act, and the degree of upset attached to the "wrongness" of that act, is something we all, every single one of us make up entirely.
Have you ever said, “I just want to be happy”? I hear this quite often in my coaching business as well as when I’m out and about, and I certainly have said these very words more than once over the years. It’s as if joy somehow just disappears, vanishes into thin air, and one is left feeling quite the opposite, unhappy or down right miserable. When something is invisible it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. You can’t see your breath unless it’s on a cold winter’s day, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t breathing.
Most of the information you'll find online about home based business opportunities these days will rehash a lot of the same old stuff. You'll hear such things as how great it is to be your own boss, time flexibility, freedom from the alarm clock and so on. You've heard all of this stuff a thousand times, haven't you? You're already familiar with the benefits a home based business opportunity can provide so now you're looking for information that can deliver the goods.
If you have been raised to act respectful and "proper," it is probably been instilled in you at some point in your upbringing that modesty is a virtue. You should not point out all the things you have accomplished or sing your own praises too loudly. Rubbish!;-) Be thrilled and proud of what you have done. Keep a list of your accomplishments. When you accomplish something and when you succeed at something, do not file it away somewhere. Do not keep it a secret. Do acknowledge it. Do celebrate. That can be difficult to do sometimes. We are taught to be humble.
In the universal story of energy and its expression through the tissue of the body, the story is incomplete without reference to the chakras (or energy centers) of the body. Dating back thousands of years, human beings have sought to find ways to capture, describe and understand their discovery of knowing - instinctively and intuitively - that we are so much more beyond our physical body; and that we are connected from the physical to the metaphysical, always held in the arms of the divine.
I've been working with people for over 30 years now, in all sorts of contexts. Some have seen me for therapy to get over a trauma, or to change how they cope, or to overcome depression or anxiety. Some see me for business coaching, to grow their business and achieve financial security. Some consult me for career coaching, to figure out how to get a more rewarding and satisfying job. It has only recently hit me that all people the people I work with share the same obstacles to their success (O.K., call me a slow learner).
I went to the Abraham Hicks Art of Allowing Workshop on Sunday October 5 in Tarrytown, NY. It was my third workshop, so I knew what to expect. I wasn't disappointed - it was a transforming experience. Perhaps one of the most fascinating parts of it was when I went to purchase the CD recording ...
In recent years, one conce has continually cropped up in my practice. The conce regards the nature of suffering, and the question that usually arises involves why suffering exists. One recent client asked me, “If God is loving, then why am I constantly faced with pain and suffering?” Others have asked, “If God exists, then why does he let us suffer?” Maybe you’ve even had thoughts along these lines. Now, this post is not meant to be a discourse on the existence of God. It is, however, intended to offer my thoughts on the subject of pain and suffering.
Life goes by too quickly, or does it? Aging can be very a stressful time for many, not just in their appearance, but also feeling like they might have missed out on things in life. Often you will hear children say they can't wait to be older and then as adults they wish they were younger again. It's true, if you choose, you can slow down the physical aging process with anti-aging serums and cosmetic surgery, but you can't deny who you are and that you're becoming older.
