So, how do you play it cool?
One of the most important ways is to give them some space and time away from you. Emotions are high right after a breakup and it's hard for either you or your ex to think clearly. Allowing them some space will let you both calm down a bit and they may begin to miss you and reminisce about the good times you had together. Much better than being in their face (or voice-mail) constantly.
People are drawn to what makes them happy or brings them pleasure. They draw away from what causes them pain or discomfort. Learn how to make yourself attractive and desirable (not just physically), and you can take a big step towards making your ex want you back.
