I have a white cat named Frankie that thinks he's a dog. He walks around the block with me like a dog. He eats dog food. And when I clap my hands and say, "come on boy" he comes running. Amazingly when dogs come up to him he doesn't run away. And strangely enough dogs never chase him. While I see them chase other cats in the neighborhood they never chase my Frankie. I often study Frankie and his interactions with the neighborhood dogs. When they first meet Frankie, they always look confused. While the dog looks skittish and nervous, Frankie just sits their calmly looking at the dog saying "Why are you looking at me like I'm a cat? I'm not a cat. I'M A DOG, NOW TURN AROUND AND GO FIND A TREE." I believe the dogs are confused because they are seeing a cat but since Frankie is projecting the energy that he's a dog, they don't know what to make of him. After a few encounters with Frankie, the dogs don't seem nervous anymore. Frankie has made them believers and they simply treat him like a dog.

Of course this got me thinking. If Frankie can project the energy of a dog then we can project the energy of whatever we want to be and how we want to be seen. I wondered what if we radiated brilliance and beauty instead of dullness. What if we showcased our strengths instead of our weaknesses-vibrated love instead of resentment and anger-projected confidence and success instead of insecurities and doubts. What if we projected our dreams instead of our fears? Would we feel different? Would others look at us differently? Would they see a dog instead of a cat?

Yes. Yes. Yes. We determine every moment of every day how others view and treat us by how we view and treat ourselves. We are that powerful. The energy we project is the energy we receive. We are like a movie projector and what we project on to the world's movie screen is what the world sees. If you play a success story, your life will be a success. Play a tear-jerker and your life will be full of tears. So to receive the energy of everything you want in life, start to project thatenergy. Know that you are the energy. Believe you are that energy. And that is what you will become. Let's get started.

ACTION STEPS

1. Create your Vision: Create a picture of the life you want. Imagine yourself living your dream? Who are you? What do you do each day? How do you feel? What makes you happy? Spend 10 minutes right now creating your vision.

2. Embrace Your Vision: Keep your vision fresh in your mind. Think about it every day. Write your vision down on paper and paste it to your mirror. Don't give up on your vision. No matter what is happening in your life, keep it alive and let the energy brew inside you.

3. Project Your Vision: You have to project your vision using your thoughts, words, and heart. When your thoughts, words and heart are in alignment you become an unstoppable force that transforms your vision into your life. Believe in your vision. Pour your heart into your vision.

4. Take Action: Nolan Bushnell said, "Everyone who has ever taken a shower has had an idea. It's the person who gets out of the shower, dries off and does something about it that makes a difference." To make a difference in your own life it is necessary to project your vision through your actions. If you want to be a comedian you have to do what comedians do-be funny. If you want to be fit you have to do what fit people do-exercise.

5. Remember Frankie: He is living proof that the energy we project is the energy we receive. I hope you will join him in creating the life that you want. It's a moment to moment choice. You can choose to accept what you have right now or project what you have always wanted. Just remember, whatever you choose is what you will become. Positive Energy is Contagious.
