Are porn sites the reason for more men to go MGTOW?

Porn has become quite popular over the years, especially within the last two years, and that is all thanks to a growing community called MGTOW. All over the world, men have started making a decision not to be involved with women any longer… but what exactly does that mean? How have they come to this decision? Well, this is a very conscious decision and not one of a metaphorical sense.

What is MGTOW?

In simple terms, MGTOW stands for Men Going Their Own Way, and within this community, you can meet men who decided to no longer engage in any kind of activities with women. Instead, they decided to turn to porn when they are in need of pleasure. This Is not to be confused with the spiritual choice, nor is it a socioeconomic problem.

Every man has his own reason for joining the community, so it is more seen as ideological celibacy. It is a slow crawl towards gender equality, in a similar sense as feminism. However, men in this community have an open problem with feminists.

They believe that feminism has ruined our society and that it no longer makes sense to actually engage with women and the dating game. They also believe that women are here to ruin men’s life; women are just one-dimensional; they are here to take their well-earned money and leave them for another.

MGTOW vs. MRA

MRAs or Men’s Rights Activists believe that that it is actually males who are oppressed and that female oppression is a myth. While MGTOW might seem similar to MRA, the two are very different. The main difference comes from the watt get are trying to fix the problem they believe in.

MRAs is a community that is trying to reach other males through activism and action, while the MGTOW community believes in self-preservation. In simple terms, the MGTOW community has decided to step out of the dating game, as they have had enough of women.

Does this affect the porn industry?

It does, in a good way. While the MGTOW community swears off women, and they do not want to have anything to do with their trickery, they still masturbate to straight pornography. Since they no longer engage with women, that means that they will need even more release and pleasure from the porn industry, and because of that, the porn industry is blooming more than ever.

Some would say that it does not really make any sense for them to turn to porn if they do not want anything to do with women in the first place. However, many in the MGTOW community state that porn does not count, because technically, they are not engaging with women. They are just watching them on screen.

Who is really at fault?

Some women say that the porn industry is to blame for the creation of MGTOW. Technically speaking, if porn did not exist, men would probably not be able to withstand the dating games, but since today, we can find all kinds of pornography for free, there is no need to engage with women unless we really want to.

A huge number of women condemn porn, and the MGTOW community believes that it is purely because they want to sexually control men. If we, both men and women, were not allowed to watch porn, that means that men would have to engage in a relationship or marriage with women to have sex or beg them instead.

In other words, after masturbation, men are purely satisfied. Thus, when they go out, they are less likely to chase and beg women for sex, which gives them control over their choices and whether they actually want to engage with women in the first place. Being rational is very important to the MGTOW community, as then you can decide whether you see a certain woman as a threat or not.

A man’s right to masturbate

In today’s world of pornography, there are loads of porn sites that could satisfy all kinds of fetishes, no matter what kind of a thing gets your motor running. The majority of MGTOWs will say that porn and masturbation is a man’s right… and there is also a portion of them who believe that porn should not be associated with MGTOW. It all depends.

With that said, porn is everyone’s freedom to enjoy themselves; however, they want. Nobody is allowed to tell you just how sexually active you should be on your own, and watching porn is not a disease. This is a natural act that is necessary to stay healthy and happy, and porn can be an essential part of that… but it also does not have to be.

Other than disliking feminist, the MGTOW community is really against the women’s movement against porn, which exists in some countries. One should not feel guilty when watching porn, because pornstars choose to do porn of their own free will, and we are all here to respect the art they have created.

Is porn to blame?

With so much porn online and such a nice variety, it is not that difficult to become a part of the MGTOW as a sexually active man. Of course, this means that you will mostly be sexually active on your own, which is only natural because men tend to have a much higher libido than women.

However, is porn to blame for MGTOW existence? Well, that all depends on your own perspective. Men believe that everyone has the right to watch porn, while hardcore feminists are largely against pornography.

With that said, one could easily come to the conclusion that porn is not to blame for MGTOW. The reason why this community came to be is due to some feminists' actions and beliefs. Would there be fewer members of the MGTOW if porn were to not exist? Probably. But that does not mean that MGTOW came into existence because of porn.
