If you were to think about one thing that you want to achieve, something could soon come to mind. When it comes to what enters your mind, it could be something that is small or it could be something that is fairly big.

This could be something that you have only wanted to achieve for a little while or it could be something that has been on your mind for quite some time. What you may find, however, is that you haven’t taken the first step.

The First Option

One thing that you could do is to look into why this is and to do something about the things that are holding you back. If you were to do this, you could find that what is holding you back is fear and even the belief that you don’t deserve to achieve what you want to achieve.

Through becoming aware of what is holding you back, it will be possible for you to do something about it. With this route, you will be going inwards before you go outwards, so to speak.

The Second Option

Another thing that you could do is to imagine what your life will be like as time passes if it stays the same. You could go forward a few months, a few years and then go as far as five years into the future.

If you were to do this, you may find that you start to experience a fair amount of anger and that your life has become unbearable. The energy that you experience through doing this exercise can give you the drive that you need to finally take action.

A Bit of Both

Taking this route doesn’t mean that you won’t work through the blocks that are inside you; it just means that you will get the ball moving. You won’t be waiting until everything is perfect – that time will never come anyway – you are simply going for it.

If you find it hard to tap into your anger, it could be because you believe that this part of you is bad or ‘negative’. Ultimately, anger, like any other feeling, is neutral; it all depends on how it is used.

Embrace It

Once you are in touch with this part of you, it doesn’t mean that you have to become possessed by it and to be in a constant state of anger. It is simply something you can tap into whenever you find it hard to take the next step.

What you can also keep in mind is that you don’t need to take massive action; you simply need to take action. Each small step that you take in the direction of what you want to achieve will slowly add up.

Patience and Persistence

It has been said that ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ and it is unlikely that what you want to experience will be achieved in a day. Maybe it will take days, weeks or even longer until what you want to achieve is achieved.

Don’t get too caught up in how long it may or may not take, focus on why you want to achieve it and the fact that you deserve to achieve it, and allow the fuel that is inside you to move your forward. You may find that the process itself is enjoyable and something that you can embrace.

How Can I Serve You?

Surrendering to the process and not getting too caught up in the outcome will also stop you from putting your life on hold and seeing the present moment as a mere distraction. If you need additional support right now, one of the ways that I can provide this is for you is through the personalised consultations that I offer via Skype or Zoom.
