Along with having a physical body, someone also has an energy body, and this part of them contains seven energy centres. The first one can be found at the bottom of their body, while the last one can be found at the top of their head.

When each of these centres is in balance, they are likely to be in a good way physically, mentally and emotionally, and their life is likely to be fulfilling. Therefore, if they are not in a good way internally and their life is also unfulfilling, it is likely to show that these chakras are also out of balance.

The Base

When it comes to their first chakra, with this being red, it covers the following areas: survival, stability, security and vitality. With this in mind, if they are focused on surviving, not thriving, and generally feel unstable, insecure and don’t have much energy, it is likely to show that this chakra is not in a good way.

This is going to mean that they won’t have firm foundations, so, like a house that is built on sand, they won’t have the inner strength or the resilience that they need. Naturally, their life is going to be far harder than it needs to be.

As this energy centre is not in a good way, it will mean that their other six energy centres will be undermined. To use an analogy; they can be like a car that doesn’t have access to a consistent flow of fuel, which will prevent the car from being driven for very long and getting very far.

Moreover, it won’t matter what great trips the driver has in mind as they will rarely arrive at their destination. Without the support that this part of them would provide, they are unlikely to be able to materialise many of the ideas that enter their mind.

But, although this and the other chakras that are located at this part of their body are going to be under-functioning, the ones at the top of their body can be over-functioning. This can mean that they will have a lot going on up top and won’t be short of good ideas or insights.

However, as they generally won’t have the strength or the energy that they need to materialise these ideas, it won’t matter how evolved this part of them is. This other part of them, on the other hand, can be seen as being anything but evolved.

One way of looking at how it can be for them would be to imagine a guru who is evolved in so many ways. So, they can share information that is profound, observe their mind without too much trouble and even meditate for hours on end.

Yet, when it comes to their day-to-day life, it is one big challenge and something that they struggle to handle. It will be clear that something is not right but they might seldom realise this due to how and even where they live.

What’s going on?

Now, if they have experienced life in this way for as long as they can remember, they might struggle to understand what is going on. They could wonder why this part of their being is not in a good way.

Most likely, they will want their life to change as soon as possible to put an end to the pain and struggle that they are experiencing. At this point, then, they could have the need to bring this chakra back in balance, so that their other chakras can function as they need to.

One Route

After some research, they may believe that this will take place by spending time in nature and walking barefoot on the earth, visualising, using positive affirmations, and doing yoga. By taking this path, they may find that this chakra, along with others, gradually sorts itself out.

Then again, they may find that this approach only takes them so far or doesn’t work and this may cause them to look for another way. What they could also wonder is why they are experiencing life in this way.

A Closer Look

In general, someone’s early years play a big part in whether or not this part of them will be in a good or bad way as an adult. Therefore, as this part of them is not in a good way, it probably shows that they were unable to bond with their primary caregiver during their formative years and their birth and time in their mother’s womb might not have been very pleasant either.

When they were an infant and then a toddler, they may have often been neglected and when they were given attention, they may have largely received missatuned care. As a result of this, they would have experienced a lot of pain and missed out on the nutrients that they needed to be able to grow and develop in the right way.

The Outcome

Their underdeveloped brain and nervous system would have often been overwhelmed and their only opting would have been to repress how they felt and to disconnect from themselves. They would have then gone into a shut down, frozen state.

Ultimately, the outer security, stability and love that they needed weren’t provided, so it is to be expected that they wouldn’t have been able to develop inner security and stability and even a felt sense of worth and deserving. What took place will be over but this chakra, along with others, will reflect how their life was at one point in time.

Moving Forward

Being in nature and walking barefoot is going to be vital, what will also be important is for them to work through the pain that is held in their brain and body. This will relate to the pain that they had to automatically repress very early on to be able to survive.

If they were to only walk barefoot in nature, to change what is going on in their mind and release tension from their body, for instance, they are unlikely to truly transform their life. This is because deep down, they will still feel the same and won’t have truly moved on from what happened.

If someone can relate to this and they are ready to change their life, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided with the assistance of a therapist or healer.
