Overlooked Reasons For Battling The Bulge

You may be overlooking some of the more natural causes of stomach fat. Many people struggle with unhealthy diets or lack of energy to peform Stomach Exercises but this may not be the main cause of their inability to have a toned flat stomach. Let us take a look at natural everyday causes of an unhealthy midsection One common reason for weight gain is genetics. Genetics alone can cause you to be overweight and struggle with having a midsection crisis. There are two basic body types for humans, apple and pear. If you store fat in your lower body you would be considered pear shaped. If you seem to hold more fat in the middle section of your torso then you would be considered apple shaped. You can get a good idea what shape you will become by analyzing your family, especially those who may be overweight.Two other overlooked reasons may be Improper Digestion and Slow Metabolism. This can quickly cause problems with weight gain. Stress is a likely cause of Improper Digestion although we will discuss stress in a moment. Improper Digestion can cause many types of gastrointestinal problems which in turn cause you to become very gassy and bloated. Many people are convinced they have stomach fat when it is not fat at all; it is gas which causes bloating, and in turn makes you appear to be overweight. As you may well know as we age our metabolism tends to slow down or in some of your minds it has come to a screeching halt! This means you are not burning calories as fast as you use to which can increase your stomach fat. You need to adjust your eating habits before your metabolism shifts. Here are two natural causes that may not come to mind when thinking of abdominal weight gain. Hypothyroidism and Essential Fatty Acid Deficiency can in many cases destroy your midsection.Thyroid hormone deficiency will decrease the metabolism of food and cause you to add unwanted weight to your stomach. This causes you to loss your appetite and in turn your body’s weight gain is from fat accumulation and fluid retention resulting from protein deposits in the body. Essential fatty acids like flaxseed oil that are great fats for your body needed to make hormones maintain the body’s metabolic rate. A deficiency here may cause cravings, normally on fatty foods. Here is in my opinion one of the biggest natural causes for weight gain today, Stress! When you are under intense stress your body releases a hormone called Cortisol which in turn causes your liver to produce excess sugar that leads to unwanted stomach fat due to an increase in your appetite.
