Help Your Kids Breathe Easier With an Adorable Humidifier by Crane
Written by Erica Morely
If your kids are having problems due to allergies, asthma, or suffering from the cold of flu – using a humidifier can help to ease their breathing. During the long winter months, the dry air can irritate the lungs, leading to inflammation, airway constriction – and thus making it take longer to recover from an illness, especially for kids. A humidifier in your home disperses a fine mist to moisturize the air you breathe, providing relief to soothe the lungs, throat, and nose.
A humidifier made especially for kids is the Adorable Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier by Crane. It features kid-friendly, animal-shaped designs to cheer your child and also complement his or her bedroom. The designs include: Freddy the Frog, Puffington the Penguin, Daphnie the Duck, Cocoa the Dog, Curtis the Cow, Oscar the Owl, Penelope the Pig, Chauncey the Polar Bear, Merlin the Red Dragon, Mya the Monkey, SpongeBob SquarePants, Elliot the Elephant, Hello Kitty and Timmy the Tiger. In addition to the humidifiers being delightful, they are also easy to use, whisper-quiet for up to 24 hours, and require less energy to operate than a standard light bulb.
Along with it being FDA and patent registered, the Adorable humidifier has received the following awards: 2010 Creative Child Magazine Award, Parent Tested Parent Approved Award, iParenting Media Award, and the Mom's Best Winner.

Operating Tips and Maintenance
Distilled water or filtered water is best to use in your Drop humidifier if you have a lot of minerals in your home’s tap water. Another choice to use is Crane’s demineralization filter (HS-1932) in place of tap water.
Always place your humidifier on a level surface that is elevated. Avoid placing it on a towel, carpet, or wood furniture that is sensitive to moisture.
It is very important to clean your humidifier frequently. Follow Crane’s recommendation of emptying the water basin daily, and disinfecting the water basin and tank on a weekly basis using a solution of white vinegar and fresh water. An alternate choice for cleaning your humidifier is with Crane’s Descaler solution (HS-1933).
Before storing, disinfect and completely dry the humidifier.
