It is disappointing that human qualities often turn too emotional and we fail to show humanity, not to speak of truth and salvation. Our silly sentiments befool us and we frequently become unsuccessful at the rear of being dutiful. Good qualities are of course essential to bring about peace and happiness in every family and society. Without doing justice to ourselves we cut a sorry figure. That is to say, how should we begin (may be all of a sudden) and where to stop.
On the contrary, we want to satisfy ourselves; do not feel like satisfying others. We are always thinking about rainy days. Strangely, none knows how much do we need to feel ourselves secured? Financially, there is no end to settle something to be on the safe side during adversities in future. The more we earn the more we burn within. The rich has little sympathy of the poor. We lack in basic education.
If we think deeply, there is hardly any sentiment to play a vital role. We are to get the essence of truth, which is far above humanity, as stated by Ma-Mahajnan on several occasions. Dutifulness is the step to count on in the wake of humanity. There are so many things we need to keep us alive. But what we badly need is of serious concern. It is nothing but awareness which should understand ‘Conscious Trance’, the state exclusively attained by Ma-Majanan coordinating worldly-cum-spiritual striving.
Good qualities like love, affection, kindness are, no doubt, essential parts of humanity. But how do some parts give an idea of a whole thing? Specially, when the whole demands a great deal of sacrifice? After all love, affection, respect etc. are often just apparent and unfortunately do not help us stand on our hind legs. Most of us are just human beings endowed with head which doesn’t contain a little gray matter in its brain-pan. Candidly, all the good qualities we possess are just out-show, they are not coming from within. In reality often we fail to bring out success and appear selfish--even mischievous and merciless.
Frankly, what I refer to as ‘emotion or sentiment’ is actually of nobody's concern. It is weighed and understandable when we delve deep. In the world of seeking and getting; we often exchange our thoughts and desires with others. Within a family and society we are left confined. As soon as we try to be desire-free, all those ornaments are of no use. They may look like gold or silver but just coatings. Would you mind if I say, almost valueless in comparison to the original ones? We are supposed to get the essence of true love leaving apart—rather far asunder passion and attachment?
Now, the question is how can I make people realize what is true conscience. Is there one such exemplary character which can be cited for acceptance of our consignment? Yes, there are definitely some people in every age to satisfy the need of our society. Their creativity commands respect. But as per ‘my life is my sayings’ is concerned, they fail to stand acid test throughout the ages to come and go. Excuse me; I will not go in debate as regards one’s deep sense of regards for one who commands respect from every corner of this planet. In this connection, modestly I would like to say a few words about Ma-Mahajnan.
I came to join her organization in 1963. Staying constantly with the Mother, I could realize so many things in the light of her philosophy. She left us forever on 22 nd January, 2011. During my long 48 year stay in her ennobling contact, collecting her songs and sermons, catechism and discourse, I feel my life something otherwise. Often I think within how she could transform an ordinary man so elevated one. This transformation required good deal of sacrifice from the sides of both mother and the son. This sacrifice is the benchmark of our achievement. I do believe, everybody will look within to conceive what amount of sacrifice one superior has had brought about to enlighten an inferior —thereafter people around the world. Hence, there are many things I have in my store to expound. Would you kindly pay attention to listen to what I say?

Author's Bio:

Ma-Mahajnan, a matchless spiritual genius, expressed her entire creation in a state of "Conscious Trance” which has all been stuffed with matters of highly philosophical value and related with strong literary sense. She could not attend even Primary School due to extreme poverty. Strangely, she was taught all by herself in the School of Nature. The weird and wonderful life is possibly the souse of her vast experience and profound realization. She was born on 17 July, 1928 and passed away on 22 January, 2011. Listen to what Ma-Mahajnan said once: What I tell you briefly about the early phase. Listen first about my life. I was married off at the age of thirteen. I was the second wife, my husband married for the second time and thus I came into his family. I didn’t get any chance for schooling.” You’ll perhaps weep to hear how I came as a wife, driven by utter poverty or how they packed me off. After that all at once I slowly progressed in the domain of that ‘Nothingness’-- “I’m the Mother; the Nothingness, too.”

Asokananda Prosad, Ma-Mahajnan's first disciple, is an engineer, a philosopher and a philanthropist. Being the missing son—the eldest and the first disciple of Great Ma-Mahajnan, he has had to shoulder so many burdens of Ashram and Temple. He has long been translating Works of Ma-Mahajnan, written in Bengali, into English. The Mother didn’t just put those in black and white, but simply expressed, extempore and spontaneous, in a state of “Conscious Trance” and Asokananda, along with his brothers and sisters of Ashram and Temple, got those tape-recorded.
