Chances are, you've read several articles on increasing your productivity. This one may be a little less orthodox than the rest, but there's no denying the results you'll get.

Here are 3 simple ways you can INSTANTLY increase your productivity.

1. When are you *UP*?

Do you live in the U.S. and like to work at 3am? If so, perhaps some of your target audience is in Australia -- think globally! By taking advantage of your natural productivity peaks, you'll naturally achieve more.

If you prefer to work early, take a break and then go back to work later in the afternoon, schedule your calls and projects around those times.

2. Limit access to you.

This may sound counterintuitive, but it's true -- the only people who should have access to you are your clients and customers and your prospective clients and customers.

By limiting access to you, even to your team, you create an environment which allows you to focus on the work at hand.

Not only do I limit access, I also group my tasks so I return emails and phone calls at the same time, do my writing in chunks, have all my coaching calls on certain days, etc.

3. Do nothing.

Sometimes when you're feeling overwhelmed and pressured, it's best to just sit and *be* for a while.

Let your mind wander for a few minutes, then rein it in and think clearly about what needs to be done. Taking a quick break almost always leads to a boost in productivity as you identify your most immediate priority.

As a business owner, you have the ability to create your work environment. It's critical to your long term success that you create a business which supports you -- and all your quirks.
