So often we get so caught up in complaining that we forget that we have an option to choose to do something else. We have also conditioned ourselves to COMPLAIN about anything we dislike. And without realizing it, we have further given ourselves both a negative and deconstructive outlet in relation to resolving what is bothering us. Nothing positive ever comes out of complaining unless we are willing to let go of wanting to be right, and begin doing something other than expressing ourselves in a negative manner.

We have to consciously see that we are holding onto the complaining habit. Each time we complain, we are reinforcing negative habits and beliefs. We are also holding onto perceived areas of disturbances because that’s where we are focusing our attention. Whatever we hold in mind becomes our reality. In particular, when we don’t like something or are in disagreement, we are strengthening these areas of disturbance within our lives. By focusing on negative situations, negative outcomes, or perhaps what others have done or not done, we are clearly not looking at things in a positive manner. In order for us to have positive outcomes and peaceful relationships, we need to always hold in mind that, “All is well!” Otherwise we are creating the exact situations that we wish to avoid.

Avoidance means we wish to willfully keep a thing, person or experience away from us. And by resisting or avoiding people or circumstances that we dislike, we are attracting opposite of what we would like to experience. This sounds somewhat idiotic, and yet if you understand the Law of Attraction, you will see that positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative. In order for us to be happy and peaceful which is what we would like to achieve, we need to hold in mind being happy and peaceful more of the time. Perhaps you’ll agree that when you feel happy or peaceful that you are also free from complaining. By holding in mind that “Life is good,” we are creating more of that for ourselves.

Try this for yourself… see if you can sit and stand at the same time. Clearly this is not possible. So the point is that when we want to change some situation, which is the basis of complaining, we are focusing on the negative instead of holding in mind what we would really like to experience. By holding in mind truly what we would like to experience, on the basis of positive only, is a better way of responding. This is such an important point because if we can see this for ourselves we can also see the light at the end of the tunnel.

By choosing to let go of complaining and the complaining habit encourages us to do things in a different manner. In looking at things more positively, we can enjoy a better attitude, experience abundance on many levels, feel calmer, more peaceful and safer. Our thinking positive also causes us to feel optimistic, enthusiastic, and cheerful. Being positive also allows us to utilize more creative and resourceful skills within ourselves. We also experience feeling more confident and successful. As we focus and begin to change what we are holding in mind, we are creating or shifting our perception towards improved outcomes more of the time. Trust that thinking positively is always about goodness. Nothing bad ever comes from positive. Anytime we let go of a negative habit and replace it with more thoughtful and positive considerations, we are creating an easier path for ourselves. Choose to develop the habit of thinking positively and be free from the burden and stressful effects of complaining. Life is a decision. Move from ‘I can’t’ to “I can!”
