After living a life that is anything but fulfilling, someone could end up coming across the law of attraction. Thanks to this, they could soon come to the conclusion that this law will allow them to finally live a life that is worth living.

It could be as though their luck has finally changed and they could be looking forward to the future. They might have been waiting for a matter of decades, not years for their life to go down a different path.

It’s Within Them

Instead of them being a passive observer of reality and at the whim of fate, they will be a powerful co-creator of their own reality. Nonetheless, it could still be hard for their mind to accept that this is the case.

Yet, if they have felt like a powerless victim for most of their life, this is to be expected. Naturally, this part of them is not going to change overnight; it will take a little while for it to get on board.

Starting Small

By picking something to manifest that is fairly insignificant, they will be able to see how they have the power to shape their reality. This could be a parking space, a smile from a stranger or a warm welcome from someone.

So, by using their thoughts and feelings to imagine that this scenario is taking place in the now moments, as time doesn’t actually exist, and doing this a number of times, they will be able to manifest this in another now moment. Once they have done this a few times, it is likely to give them the belief that they need to take the next step.

The Key

Regardless of what they are trying to manifest, it will be essential for them to manage their thoughts and feelings, so they don’t get caught up in ‘negativity’. Another part of this will be for them to take inspired action, as it is unlikely that what they desire will simply fall into their lap.

By being in the right place and doing the right thing, they will be able to have what they desire, sooner or later. If what they desire doesn’t show up, it could show that they don’t believe that it is possible and/or that they don’t feel worthy of it.

Moving Forward

As time goes by, they may find that they are able to achieve all kinds of things, and who they were before would probably find it hard to comprehend how they are now living. This can be a time when they are filled with a deep sense of gratitude.

At the same time, what they may find is that although they have been able to manifest a lot of great things, experiences and people into their life, they often feel as if their life is still one big struggle. The amount of effort that they have to put into having what they want could often be exhausting.

A Different Outcome

Then again, they may find that while they have been able to manifest certain things, they haven’t been able to transform their life. Due to this, they could feel even worse than before; it could be as though they were given false hope.

When it comes to the first and the second scenarios, there is likely to be a fair amount of frustration and even anger. The former can be seen as being in a better position but their life is still not going to flow.

One Outlook

Based on how someone in either of these positions experiences life, it could be said that their natural state will be one of ‘negativity’, which is why it will take so much effort for them to experience life differently. But, while this could just be seen as normal and something that they have to keep at bay by having ‘positive’ thoughts and feelings, what if there was more to it?

What if the reason they need to put so much effort into having ‘positive’ thoughts and feelings and even why their life was or is not very fulfilling is due to something else? What if what they are doing is a compensation for the fact that their being is filled with negativity?

Going Deeper

By carrying so much negativity, it is to be expected that it will either take a lot of effort for them to change it and for it to stay this way or it will simply be too much of a struggle for them to change it. In a way, they will be fighting an endless battle and this will make their life far harder than it needs to be.

When it comes to the ‘negativity’ that is being spoken about here, it will relate to the emotional pain that is primarily held in their unconscious mind/body. This pain will seep into their conscious mind, having an impact on the thoughts and feelings that they experience and it will impact what they can and can’t attract, and whether or not what they do attract soon slips through their fingers.


When they first learned about the law of attraction, there is the chance that it wasn’t mentioned that they could be carrying emotional pain that needs to be worked through. They may have just been told that their thoughts define how they feel, so changing their thoughts will allow them to have the right feelings.

The other side of this, that their thoughts can be an effect of and be caused by repressed pain, wouldn’t have been mentioned. This is more likely to be something that the other was not aware of as opposed to something that was withheld from them.

An Analogy

If then, they have an unconscious mind that is full of negativity and they do what they can to have a conscious mind that is full of positivity, it is not going to be a surprise if their life is one big struggle. They will be like the tip of an iceberg that is full of light, while the rest of them are full of darkness.

When it comes to why they would be carrying all this emotional weight, it will relate to what they have experienced as an adult and what took place during their early years. The experiences that they have had, throughout their life, will have left them with emotional wounds, wounds that will be weighing them down and making their life harder than it needs to be.


If someone can relate to this and they are ready to change their life, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided with the assistance of a therapist or healer.
