I care to live only to entice people to look at Nature's loveliness. Heaven knows that John the Baptist was not more eager to get all his fellow sinners into the Jordan than I to baptize all of mine in the beauty of God's mountains. John Muir

After 18 years in Florida, I've finally returned to the wide open spaces of the West, a dream come true for me. It took me only three days to drive myself and my cat Mandy in a 10-foot moving truck across country, first to spend several months with my sister and her husband before I return home to my beautiful and wondrous home, Arizona. While I was nervous about driving alone across country, everyone was so nice and I had so many wonderful adventures, that I will cherish the memories of such a momentous and beautiful trip for the rest of my life. It is with great excitement and nervousness that I embark on this new path of my life.

I never felt at home or truly accepted for who I was while I lived in Florida, making it apparent that it was definitely time for me to move. Just before I left, I met someone who had a similar experience to mine making it clear that it is never a good idea to move just for a job, it is the wrong reason to pull up stakes giving up everyone and everything you love for an income. I will tell anyone that major life changes should never be a reaction to a difficult situation or problems because they follow you everywhere you go. Change should always be a choice that is felt in your heart.

My desire for anyone who is at crossroads is that you concentrate on being happy, let go of your limited beliefs and plans and let God co-create with you to arrive at the answers that you are seeking. From first hand experience, the path and the outcome may not be what you imagined, but it will be what you want and need.

I sincerely appreciate your time and thank you for reading my article.

Author's Bio:

I’ve been living consciously for several years. I’ve gained a great deal of insight and understanding living an intentional life. I am writing these articles to share ideas and ways I’ve found successful to help you uncover what motivates your choices, words and actions.

I no longer believe that life is the way it is and there is nothing we can do about it. My mantra is choose then choose wisely and intentionally and everything will flow in the direction of our dreams. We get so caught up in trying to please everyone that we neglect our spirit and the person we long to be.

Living mindfully isn't something we do or practice, it is simply a choice of living naturally and purposefully. Being awake to making a life is knowing that you're a vital part of the change of the world. This way of life is giving yourself over to the experience of living with your eyes wide open.
