The Miracle Frequency Of Fabulocity
Written by Michele Blood
What is the Miracle Frequency of Fabulocity?
Would you love to travel through your life at the speed and frequency of Fabulocity?
Of course you would.
Now, before you think I am talking about fashion, fancy clothes, five inch heels or looking glamorous, although I am certainly not against any of those things and indulge myself in sometimes even six inch heels, I was a rock singer, remember. Let me explain what Fabulocity means to me.
Fabulocity is a VELOCITY of magnificence and appreciation for every moment.
It is a way of living and meeting life with joy, enthusiasm, gratitude, curiosity, humour and love. It is not about trying to impress other people or being better than anyone else, and it has nothing to do with arrogance, ego or false humility. True Fabulocity is something much deeper. It is all about Love, Enlightenment and polishing our inner Diamond.
To live this way is to have the courage to be fully yourself, expressing your gifts, talents, creativity and unique personality without apology, while appreciating who you are now and continually expanding into more of who you are capable of becoming.
Remember, you are unlimited, and the Divine Presence within you is unlimited. There is always more within you to discover, express, experience and give. That is one of the things I find so extraordinary about being alive. We are never really finished and can continue to expand in consciousness, wisdom, creativity, joy and love throughout our entire lives.
Thank goodness.
Imagine Eternity sending you a little notice one morning saying, “That’s it. You’ve reached your maximum magnificence. Nothing further to discover.”
What? Eternity? I thought we were infinite. OH NO. How sad!
I would probably burn that load of bollocks.
Of course there is more to discover.
When you begin living with this understanding, something changes within you. Instead of walking into a room wondering what everybody thinks about you or checking whether you are impressive enough, clever enough, attractive enough or successful enough, you arrive knowing that your purpose is not to impress anyone. You bring your own inner peace, gratitude, happiness and genuine love for other people and for life itself. Your purpose is to bring happiness, release suffering from your own self first, then spread that love and joy and truly live!
You become interested rather than worrying about whether you are interesting, and because you are actually listening and present with people, they feel it.
Presence is powerful.
There is an energy around someone who is comfortable within themselves. They are not constantly searching the room for approval because they have stopped giving everybody else the job of deciding their value.
One of the greatest misunderstandings in life is the idea that humility means making ourselves smaller. Many wonderful people have spent years hiding their gifts because they thought being humble meant downplaying their talents, minimizing their achievements or pretending they were less capable than they truly are.
True humility is not belittling yourself. It is knowing exactly who you are, not more than you are and certainly not less than you are, while remaining open to the magnificent mystery of everything you are still becoming.
When I was growing up in Australia, Tall Poppy Syndrome was very much part of the culture. It was also common in the UK, particularly back in the seventies. If somebody became too successful, too confident, too happy or stood out too much, somebody somewhere seemed rather eager to chop that tall poppy down.
Thankfully, things have changed enormously, which is wonderful. Yet from time to time that attitude still appears, so don’t listen to it.
If you are confident and happy, clap your hands. Come on, you know the song.
I am not talking about getting up on a soapbox and telling everyone how wonderful you are. Nobody wants a three hour presentation on your magnificence while they are trying to buy a loaf of bread. You don’t have to announce who you are because your attitude, kindness, peace, gratitude and love will tell people far more eloquently than you ever could.
There is a quiet confidence in a person who is comfortable in their own skin and grateful to be alive.
I once joked with an audience that I found it rather difficult to teach about low self esteem because I have never really had a bad word to say about myself.
Why would I?
There are enough people in the world willing to criticize us if they feel so inclined. We certainly don’t have to join them. Let other people criticize if they wish. That is their business and often a reflection of their own lack of confidence. But never, my darling, never ever belittle yourself, and certainly don’t belittle another person in order to make yourself feel larger.
Being fabulous is recognizing the gifts that have been entrusted to you and having the courage to use them. You can stand tall without standing on anyone else and shine brightly without having to dim another person’s light.
In fact, when you truly know who you are, seeing other people shine becomes a joy. Their success takes nothing away from yours, so you can genuinely appreciate another person’s beauty, talent, intelligence, prosperity, happiness and creativity.
There is no competition for being you.
Think about that for a moment.
Nobody on this entire planet can beat you at being you. Someone can have more money, more followers, a larger house, longer legs, more qualifications or hair that remains mysteriously perfect in a hurricane.
Good for them.
They still cannot be you.
There has never been another you, and there never will be another you. Look at that mystically and it becomes even more extraordinary, because through all the vastness of Creation, Eternity is expressing itself through you in a way that has never existed before.
Your particular combination of experiences, humour, talents, quirks, insights, loves, lessons, victories and ways of seeing life has never appeared in precisely this form. You are not some cosmic clerical error wandering around Creation wondering how you got here. The Divine intelligence and Presence within you are part of something eternal, experiencing this temporary and rather fascinating adventure we call being human.
Once you begin to understand that, comparison starts to look rather silly and kind of ridiculous.
Why spend your precious life trying to become somebody else?
I spent many years as a rock singer in Australia, and one thing I discovered very early was that the artists who truly connected with people were not the ones trying to be somebody else. The artists who touched our hearts were the ones who knew themselves and genuinely wanted to uplift their audience.
It was never really about fame. It was about expression, connection and sharing something beautiful that came through you in your own particular way.
Of course we can learn from people we admire. I have been blessed throughout my life to learn from extraordinary teachers and remarkable people, but learning from somebody is completely different from trying to become them. Take the wisdom and inspiration, then allow it to move through your own consciousness and soul. That is where originality lives.
Be unique and have fun with life. Life is a gift.
And please be genuinely interested in other people.
People respond to sincerity and to someone who genuinely cares. A person who listens is naturally interesting because they are interested, rather than spending the entire conversation waiting for their chance to drag it back to themselves.
We have all met someone like that. Whatever subject comes up, somehow within thirty seconds we are back to hearing about them again. You could casually mention a wonderful trip to Paris and suddenly you are listening to every European holiday they have taken since 1992, complete with hotel recommendations you never asked for.
Relax and listen. Other people are fascinating when we give them room to be themselves, and when you genuinely find people interesting, they often find you interesting too.
This is another beautiful part of Fabulocity. It has room for everybody and is certainly not a private club for the wealthy, the beautiful or the influencers.
A person can have every material possession imaginable and still carry misery into every room, while someone with very little materially can possess such gratitude, humour, kindness and love that everybody feels better simply because they arrived.
Which one is fabulous?
You already know.
The world does not need another copy. The world needs you, my darling. Yes, it does.
Just as every snowflake is unique, every human being carries a uniqueness that deserves to be expressed, and there could be gifts within you that have been waiting for years for your permission to come forth. Gifts from past lives can also come to life.
How much of our lives can disappear while we are wondering what somebody else might think? And whose permission are we waiting for anyway?
You are alive now. This is your life now, and you are here to LIVE NOW.
Fabulocity does not postpone joy until some imaginary future date when everything is finally perfect. We can so easily tell ourselves that we will enjoy life when there is enough money, relax when the business reaches a certain level, wear the fabulous clothes when the body is exactly the way we want it, or finally become happy when the right relationship arrives.
My darling, there will always be something to sort out.
Life is happening while you are sorting it out.
So please, please enjoy what is here. Wear the beautiful clothes and use the good china rather than keeping it locked away for an occasion apparently important enough to deserve a plate. Call your friend, take the trip when you can, sing the song, create whatever has been wanting to come through you and tell people you love them while they are here to hear it. Watch the sunset instead of rushing past it, and give yourself time to sit quietly with the Divine Presence.
And dance in your five inch heels while you still can. If eventually you have to take them off, keep dancing.
Fabulocity does not reside in the shoes.
Although fabulous shoes certainly don’t hurt.
Celebrate your life. Wake up every morning and say, “Wow, another beautiful day to be truly alive. YAY! More Love.”
What a different way to greet the day.
Another morning means life is still inviting you to participate. Love, creativity, forgiveness, laughter, a change of direction, uplifting another person and becoming more conscious of the Divine Presence are all available to us without waiting for a special occasion.
This is why appreciation is at the heart of Fabulocity, because appreciation changes what you see.
When the mind is constantly focused upon what is missing, you can be surrounded by miracles and walk straight past them. Yet as appreciation becomes natural, an apparently ordinary day begins revealing how extraordinary it actually is. Morning light coming through a window, the vastness of the sky, music, a kind word, somebody smiling at you or the astonishing intelligence of your own body can suddenly become reminders that life has been giving to you all along.
My cats cuddled up to me in bed.
Now that’s Fabulocity.
Your heart has been beating all day without you having to remember to tell it.
Thank goodness.
Imagine if we were responsible for that as well. I have enough to do.
You go about your business of beating, my beautiful heart.
We would be halfway through an email and suddenly think, “Goodness, is my heart beating?”
Fortunately, Divine intelligence seems to have that department covered.
And this is where Fabulocity begins to move naturally into mysticism.
When you really start paying attention to life, you become aware of an intelligence operating within and around you in every moment, so magnificent and constant that most of us barely notice it. Beneath all the noise and activity of everyday life is a deeper Presence, and as we become quieter within ourselves, we begin to sense that we are not separate from it.
Meditation can take us beyond the constant chatter of the mind, even if only for a moment, and in that stillness something extraordinary can reveal itself. Beneath your personality, history, name and all the roles you have played is a Presence untouched by everything that has happened in your life, silent, alive and eternal.
The more conscious you become of that Divine Presence, the less interesting it is to pretend to be somebody else.
Why would you want to be somebody else when Eternity is expressing itself through you?
That, to me, is the mystical heart of Fabulocity.
We are not attempting to decorate the personality and make it more impressive. We are allowing the Divine within us to shine naturally through our joy, creativity, talents, kindness, compassion, laughter, love and yes, even some of our eccentricities.
We all have them.
Thank goodness again.
Imagine a world where everybody was perfectly behaved and predictable, thought the same thoughts, wore the same clothes, liked the same things and never did anything unexpected.
Yuck, grey and dull.
I absolutely adore and enjoy the originals. People with extraordinary ideas, those who laugh at unexpected moments, follow their intuition and are comfortable enough within themselves to allow everybody else the freedom to be themselves too.
When you no longer have anything to prove, generosity becomes natural. Encouraging people feels wonderful, another person’s success becomes something to celebrate, and affection, humour, gratitude and appreciation flow much more freely because you understand there is no shortage of magnificence.
Eternity is not running low.
We don’t have to ration compliments in case somebody else becomes too fabulous.
If somebody has helped you, tell them. When something they created touches your heart, say so. Compliment people simply because you can, and say “I love you” while the person is there to hear it.
As you recognize more light, you begin seeing more of it. Expressing love opens you to experiencing more love, and appreciation has the beautiful effect of making you feel increasingly alive. The more completely you become yourself, the less energy you waste trying to be anything else.
This is why I call it Traveling at the Speed of Fabulocity.
It doesn’t mean rushing through life. Quite the opposite.
The speed is frequency.
Once you stop dragging yesterday behind you, comparing yourself with everybody else and waiting for tomorrow to give you permission to be happy, your entire experience begins to change because you become available to the present moment.
And the present moment is where your power is, where Enlightenment lives powerfully and so lovingly within every cell of your being.
There is only this moment now.
Yesterday can be remembered with love and tomorrow can be envisioned magnificently, but neither can be lived anywhere except in the present. Even when tomorrow finally arrives, you will experience it as Now.
My Nana Blood, Elsie, used to say something to me when I was little. I think it was an old saying: “If today is tomorrow, why worry about yesterday?”
When I was only seven, that was completely beyond my mind, and I pondered it until one day I got it.
There is only Now.
Wow.
Mind bent at such a young age.
Thanks, Nana Elsie Blood.
More Love!
This eternal Now is where life meets you, where prayer and meditation become experience rather than ideas, where gratitude can be felt and transformation actually occurs. It is also where the Divine Presence reveals itself.
So perhaps traveling at the Speed of Fabulocity is not really about getting somewhere at all. Perhaps it is becoming so awake to the magnificence of this moment that you finally stop trying to be somewhere else.
You are here, life is happening, and the Divine Presence is with you and within you.
What more magnificent place could there be to begin?
Celebrate who you are. Write down your gifts and appreciate your journey, your successes, everything you have learned and the courage it took to walk through everything you have walked through. Give yourself credit for taking action and continuing to grow into the magnificent being you are becoming.
Not because you are better than anybody else.
Because you are you.
There is no competition for being you.
There never was.
Being fabulous and traveling at the Speed of Fabulocity is not about perfection. It is about being fully alive, living with joy, gratitude, confidence, enthusiasm and love, and knowing who you are without having to prove who you are.
Being humble is not belittling yourself. True humility is knowing who you are with confidence and gratitude while recognizing the same Divine magnificence in everyone else.
Harmony reigns supreme because the frequency you live in determines the life you experience, my darling.
I will say it again.
The frequency you live in determines the life you experience.
So don’t simply read these words and rush off to the next thing. Live them. Express yourself, love yourself, appreciate your life, give your gifts to the world, laugh often, be interested in people and celebrate the magnificence in others as freely as you celebrate it in yourself.
And as you continue through this book, remember that these chapters are not meant to be rules marching along in some terribly obedient order. Open the book wherever you are drawn and read what interests you today. You might be rather surprised by what finds you at exactly the right moment.
Never make yourself smaller so somebody else can feel taller.
Turn up your Miracle Frequency.
You are here to LIVE NOW.
Make every precious moment count.
Be magnificently yourself and travel at the Speed of Fabulocity, my darling.
Harmony Reigns Supreme.
More Love.

How the Idea of Manifesting is Ruining Your Chances of Success
Manifesting. It's one of those words that people are using a lot thanks to the slew of new books, infomercials, and movies that proclaim that nothing is earned and nothing is worked for, rather things "manifest" in one's life - as long as they "ask" or "think" the right things. Want a car? Visualize it. Think about it. Feel it. And then ... *BAM* ... It will "manifest" in your life. How about a million dollars? No problem! Once again, visualize it and feel it, and then ... *P
