There is a kind of breed of a tree in Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia which grows naturally and is called kratom. The basic purpose of this kratom tree was to make medicines in a traditional way, which can cure disease or can be used to get rid of any harmful disease, but these days’ people have started using it as a recreational drug, which has gone widespread, and harming the youth and the society. As per doctors, kratom is a drug that contains a substance that joins itself to a similar part of the nerve cell as an opioid painkiller and initiates the same effect in the brain. A drug is also a medicine but if it is consumed in a very small quantity in bulk of medicines to take out the benefit of the drug. Kratom is consumed traditionally, with kratom leaves that are chewed, brewed into tea, or can be used in cooking. All these ways of kratom intake are illegal as this leads to the intake of kratom as in the form of drugs and not the medicine for a special purpose to cure it. People, especially the young youth or the college-going students get into this habit by other people, and then a slow and regular intake of any drug leads to addiction, which slowly increases and becomes an addiction forever.
