Pretty certain, most folks would love to feel good at all times, although many may think it’s not possible to always feel good. Ok, what’s right about feeling good? Feeling good encompasses many things… Perhaps it is working on an incredible project – getting involved – being inspired. Maybe it is a sound, like the evening rain gently caressing the window while you are sleeping. Maybe feeling good is being at your ideal weight or having a certain amount of money. And maybe, feeling good is the way life is meant to be at all times. When you feel good about yourself, you are capable of weathering any storm. Your health is good… you have an abundant cash flow… you are enjoying wonderful and loving relationships. Basically feeling good, is being content, and at peace.

When we feel good it’s simply because we are happy. We are happy to be, as we are, right in this moment. We aren’t looking to change things. We are pleased with everything. We see things as “all is good with the world.” We are living our lives with an attitude of gratitude. We wake up and declare, “Today is a great day! Everything is perfect!” The more we practice feeling good, the better our lives become. When asked by others, “How do you feel?” Respond positively. I feel great! I feel happy! Feeling good is an enthusiastic feeling. It’s joyful! Exuberant! It’s delicious! This feeling occurs when we are in touch with our true Self. In feeling good, you’ll notice you are not complaining. You aren’t playing victim. You are just happy for no apparent reason. Feeling good is a feeling of doing nothing and having everything. We have plenty of time. We are in harmony. We are just being; there is no wanting. In reality, our basic nature is happiness and love.

Actually feeling good is abundant to all in each and every moment. Your “emotional intelligence” plays a big factor is your feeling good. When we practice being in control, are approving of our life, are confident that we are safe, we are strengthening our resiliency and self-esteem. We are reinforcing that we can handle whatever comes along. You’ll notice when you are feeling good that you have left behind the noise and chatter. You’ll notice that you are saying “YES!” to new challenges and opportunities for personal growth. Feeling good is actually a choice. You are deciding in each moment, whether you are feeling good or not. When you are not feeling good, it is the result of your thinking. It really is that simple. No one outside of you can think for you or make decisions for you. If someone suggests something to you, regardless if you agree or disagree, you made a decision for or against. So by choosing to feel good about yourself, you are empowering yourself to love yourself.

So you see, there is no magic formula that determines why some folks are happy and why others aren’t. The folks that are happy are making better choices. Feeling bad can be permanently eliminated from your life. You are being invited to sincerely look at your life and decide, “Is there more to life than this?” Could it get any better? Honestly, being happy and feeling good is available to all. If you aren’t enthusiastically saying “YES” to the above questions, perhaps you might like to shift gears. You can easily move past “not feeling good,” (some of the time – none of the time), to always feeling good. This method will help you to uncover and deal with the not-so-good feelings that we experience when we fall off of our happy perch. Sometimes life throws out a curve-ball and we become anxious, overwhelmed, or fearful. When we fall off of our happy perch, it is usually the result of making limiting choices. Learn to make better choices and always feel good by letting go of the limitations that are holding you back. Life is more enjoyable when we are feeling good. Being happy and positive is all you need in order to feel good!
