To Bee or not to Bee!
In one or two of my previous articles I have written about how grasslands are managed to encourage wildflower growth. Farmers are being given incentives to promote this kind of management in order to halt the decline in these native wild plants. There is another reason why this decline should be reversed and that is that pollinating insect numbers are also falling. We all see bees and insects in our gardens, but there was a time when their numbers were much greater.
