Lately because of so many celebrities passing away, such as Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, to name a few, I have been asked many questions about life and death. Death is a universal experience. No one can hope to escape it. It is only a matter of time till it comes to each one of us and those we love. Most death beds are peaceful when the time comes and few go out struggling. What, then, is it we fear in death that it should be for us a thing of grief and dread? Firstly, we fear the unknown.
Here is a teaching by Bruce Lee, the great martial artist, I think puts a wonderful spin on our spiritual selves, “Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash.

Nowadays more and more people want to know what to expect when they die. They also ask me, “Where am I going to go when I die?” What is it like in spirit? Do we get to see people we loved? Do we get to meet other spirits? Do we have bodies? The list of questions goes on. Death is held as such a mystery that the only time most people embark on the voyage of self realization is when they are faced with the inevitability of their death.
With the hot summer upon us it is time to make sure that your body is getting sufficient water/hydration. Without water your body cannot function and many people perish in the heat because they believe that they are getting enough water through soda pop, coffee or tea. Not true, you need pure water with minerals to completely hydrate your body. In fact soda pop, coffee or tea can cause a leaching of minerals from the body.
My mother died suddenly October 20, 1987, at the age of 67 from a heart attack. Earlier that year she had told me about health problems she had experienced, and I told her that I believed she had suffered a heart attack and needed to see a medical doctor. “No,” she said, “They’ll just pick on my weight and I just don’t want to stop eating because it’s the only thing that makes me happy.” I knew that my mother was a very unhappy person, and I couldn’t argue with what she had stated. She had expressed for several years that she really wanted to die because she was so unhappy.
Have you ever really thought about the power God (The Great Spirit) uses? He has the biggest arsenal in the universe that is at our disposal and ready to help us in the battle of life. What are the Big Guns of God? God’s Angels. They take action and are more powerful than any weapon on this planet. We are never truly alone and once we start communicating with our Angels - our life becomes enriched and meaningful.
So many of you have expressed in my blog that you are having difficulty getting over Michael Jackson’s death. It’s important that you continue to live a full life and be thankful that Michael shared a portion of your life. So here are some thoughts that I have put together that I would like for you to focus on to get over grieving. Focus on Michael Jackson’s music, videos and generosity, not his shortcomings or the rumors about his death. Don’t believe everything you hear and read. Respect him for what you hear of his music and his videos and don’t listen to the gossip.

Just because the economy has gone down does not mean we need to lose the true meaning of Christmas. What is the meaning? Giving to others without expecting anything in return. Wow, what a concept. Do you have it in you to give of yourself without expecting anything back? What I’m talking about is simplifying your life and doing things with those you love that don’t cost much money such as an old fashion Christmas tree decorating party. Not everybody has to buy a Christmas tree; it could be in a church, homeless shelter, a convalescent home or hospital.
A year ago the majority of my phone calls, as a psychic, were about love relationships. Now the majority of my calls are about finances. Am I going to be laid off? Is my business going to fail? Do I need to file bankruptcy? Will I have enough money to send my kids to college? These are the questions I hear every day. Sometimes you have to learn spiritual lessons the hard way. I found this out personally when I argued with a demon.
