The last 2 issues were about surrenderingrn(releasing the need to be in control) and about allowing (being open to what you're told). This is about trust. Many people have trust issues. They don't trust themselves, their partners, their family, their friends, their bosses, coworkers, employees, etc. They may have been abandoned as children or something equally as horrible for a child to endure. The trust I am talking about here is not like the trust you place in another. It is way beyond that and is far less risky.

We've arrived at issue number 8 in our series on manifesting your heart's desires. This issue is about non-attachment. This is one of the most critical steps in this whole process. To put it another way, you can't be attached to whatever you're manifesting. That is, you can't need it. You can't be desperate to have it. You have to have an attitude of complete non-attachment. It is as if to say, you couldn't care less whether you got the thing that you want or not. You have to want itrnwithout wanting it.

In the last issue we talked about the art of surrender, that is letting go of all of the beliefs about how you think your life is going to look and allowing the Universe to determine the perfect outcome. And surrender is about stopping the battle with your ego and living from your heart. Notice that I said that when you surrender, you need to ALLOW the Universe to determine the perfect outcome. If you are given many great ideas, but you don't listen to them, (allow them) what good will they do? There is a real, almost magical benefit to allowing all possibilities.

In last issue, we talked about giving as a way to gain and I really wanted to share a story that I did not have room for, so I thought I would share it quickly here. A few weeks ago, I found a five dollar bill in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. I immediately was grateful and thankful. I took it as a sign of the Universe providing in ways I can't even imagine. I got in my car and started driving out of the parking lot and I noticed an old man who appeared to be hurting. He was frail, sickly looking, tired and he needed a cane just to help him take each slow and painful step.
