It is hard for anyone to watch someone that you love deteriorate from the Disease of Alzheimer's. The once vivacious individual that you always knew is still there-somewhere. The problem is that it may only be for a fleeting moment at eventually not at all. Is it hard for them as well? Do they fully understand what is happening? Some doctors say that they have a hard time coping and that they understand that things will only get worse and others have the opposite opinion, so I guess that we will never really know for sure.
We all have a little bit of a perfectionist attitude in us although we don't admit it. Sometimes we put off a job because we want it to meet high standards (Fear of failure) and don't have a plan (lack of a goals) to execute to get the job finished the right way. Sometimes we put off a job because we don't like it and want to ignore it and sometimes we don't like the person that gave us the job; Therefore, we resent having to do it.
With spring-cleaning time on its way, we are all in the mode to clean those closets, get the built-up and hidden areas of our homes cleaned, organized, and eliminate all of the stress points in our lives. How many of us think about cleaning out annoyances in the form of needless associates? We all have them, they come in many forms, a relative that is always calling, people that will not take 'no' for an answer and the office busy body. These people have driven us crazy for years! They call at the most inopportune times and upset our work schedule.
Did you ever notice that your child's backpack is a dumping ground for everything- even things that don't have anything to do with school? Unbelievably, there are some very good reasons for becoming disorganized. However, all of these are curable and can be conquered once we get to the root of the problem.
