Various aspects of reports about subtle senses and supraphysical realities as they impact our exte al world, have been documented, and in some cases, extensively studied and verified. Contagion is the transmission of something, whether physical, vital or mental energy/vibration, from one entity or being to another. On the physical plane, contagion is usually understood to be transmitted through the use of a physical medium, such as a ‘germ’, whether we call it a bacteria, or a virus, an amoeba or a spore. We are then asked to cut through the illusion to find the actual reality, the Absolute, the consciousness that is coincident with all existence, and which is not bound by any of the forms taken by this exte al, illusory, reality. The Mayavadins have indeed captured a partial truth of existence.
