Marketing yourself online can be a beast. There are so many "gurus" out there telling you this and telling you that. Everyone has their own take, their own tactics. But here's the thing, tactics come and go.
Remember when just having a website was a tactic? When the web first began its life, the early adopters, the businesses who invested early in their websites did better than their competition who didn't have a site.
Back in the day though... websites were expensive. Investing in a developer and all that was involved with creating a website was a big commitment. But those that did invest, got the payoff.
Nowadays though with Wordpress themes, Wix, Weebly and Squarespace, there are really no barriers for anyone to have a website. And this is why Russell Brunson of Clickfunnels has declared that "websites are dead".
Of course, he says this because he wants people to purchase his "funnel" building software. But he's not entirely wrong. A website is basically just an online brochure, whereas a funnel can help you actually interact with your prospects.
But what Wordpress and Wix did for websites, Clickfunnels, Optimize Press and Lead Pages did for funnels. So now, everyone and their brother, including scammers and low quality providers have funnels of their own. So the credibility behind sales funnels is in question and skepticism is at an all time high.
Websites and funnels are tactics. What entrepreneurs and businesses trying to market online need is a strategy. And the good strategies are timeless. What worked in person to person direct sales many years ago still works online today.
We like to buy from people we know like and trust. We are looking for new opportunities over improvement offer. We are captivated by Big Ideas.
These are the components of a successful online strategy. This is what I have been focusing on for the past 4 years.
As the Marketing Medic, I help entrepreneurs and businesses develop and execute their online strategy.
I have hired and been mentored by both Russell Brunson and Todd Brown, two of the best online marketers today. I have taken what I have learned from them and weaved their teaching into my own blueprints and strategies.
I now teach my Marketing Medic Apprentice students the importance of developing this Empathic Marketing Strategy (EMS) and incorporating that into an online Credibility Accelerator Vortex.
Do you have an online presence? Does your online presence have a strategy behind it?
Do you have a website? a blog? a sales funnel?
Are you speaking to your audience in the language they use and understand?
Are you clearly providing them with a solution to a burning problem they are faced with?
If you didn't answer "Yes" to ALL of of the above, then it's likely your business hasn't reached its full potential.
You need to create an online Credibility Accelerator Vortex utilizing an Empathic Marketing Strategy.
If you are doing any less, you are leaving money on the table and that money would serve you much better if it was in your pocket!
